Semana de la Educación (Education Week) will be held from 11 to 15 March 2026, with sustainability as a central theme

From 11 to 15 March, AULA, Schools Day, Postgrado y Formación Continua (The Higher Education and Ongoing Training Fair), and Digielearning will once again attract students with the most comprehensive educational offerings at IFEMA MADRID.

Semana de la Educación (Education Week), the largest educational gathering in the country, will hold a new edition from 11 to 15 March 2026 at IFEMA MADRID, occupying Halls 12 and 14 of the Recinto Ferial. Once again, this educational event will bring together students, families, teachers, and professionals from the sector around the theme "Sustainability, your future starts here", which will underpin the content and activities of this edition aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to position education as an essential driver for social, economic, and environmental development.

Organised as a meeting point for guidance, information, and educational experiences, Semana de la Educación (Education Week) will once again be structured around AULA, Schools Day, Postgrado y Formación Continua (The Higher Education and Ongoing Training Fair), and Digielearning The variety of proposals will create a cross-sector environment that encompasses all educational stages and addresses the key current challenges of the educational system and the job market.

There will be new features at this edition, with a strong emphasis on Vocational Training.

 

In this edition, the Semana de la Educación (Education Week) will focus on Vocational Training and the knowledge of professions in order to showcase the various academic and career paths linked to sectors with the highest demand for employment to young people. With this aim, the event will strengthen educational guidance, primarily engaging students in first- and second-year secondary education (ESO) with the different training and professional options available through the extensive offerings from educational institutions, training organisations, and universities that will be present at this gathering.

In this regard, opportunities will incorporate the First Job Space, which aims to guide young people in their transition to the job market, highlight existing professional opportunities, and facilitate informed educational decisions aligned with real employment demand.

Additionally, the Family School will address, alongside professionals, proposals focused on emotional education, well-being, support in the digital environment, responsible and necessary use of technology, and the transmission of values such as equality, inclusion, and sustainability within the family context.

Educational proposals for all training needs

 

AULA, from 11 to 15 March, will once again be one of the central spaces where students can discover education from a practical and experiential perspective. Through the participation of top-level schools, universities, and other educational entities, the area will feature workshops for educational guidance, robotics, debate spaces such as Aula Forum, a stage dedicated to performing arts, music, and Vocational Training, as well as areas for discovering professions and trades with high employment demand.

Meanwhile, Schools Day, held from 11 to 15 March, will bring together national and international schools, nursery schools, camps, and extracurricular activity organisers, who will present their educational proposals directly to families. Designed as a dynamic and participatory gathering, the space is aimed at families whose children are beginning their education, as well as those wishing to reorient their educational pathway, incorporating a wide range of recreational offerings, including camps and extracurricular activities.

Postgrado y Formación Continua (The Higher Education and Ongoing Training Fair), which will take place on 11 and 12 March, is aimed at university graduates and professionals seeking specialisation, new professional challenges, or skills updates. This area will bring together offerings from universities, business schools, and specialised training centres, focusing on lifelong learning and improving employability in a constantly transforming job market.

Finally, Digielearning, from 11 to 12 March, will hold its second edition, which will be a professional space dedicated to digital learning and the connection between experts, companies, and professionals in the educational and technological sectors. The area will facilitate the exchange of knowledge, the presentation of innovations, and the exploration of new dynamics related to digital training.

With this new edition from 11 to 15 March 2026 at IFEMA MADRID, the Semana de la Educación (Education Week) will be a platform for opportunities and discussions about the present and future of the education sector. Entities or companies interested in exhibiting can still arrange their participation in this major event, which in its 2025 edition attracted over 125,000 visitors who were able to explore the educational offerings of more than 1,000 schools in one space.
