The most extensive educational offer in Spain will be at the SEMANA DE LA EDUCATION (EDUCATION WEEK) 2024

Encouraging reading will be the motto of this event
"Encouraging Reading" will be the motto of the ninth edition of SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN (EDUCATION WEEK), scheduled to take place from 6 to 10 March 2024 and organised by IFEMA MADRID. Once again, this meeting point will feature the International Educational Opportunities Exhibition, AULA, as well as the Congreso Red-INTERDIDAC de Recursos para la Educación (Congreso Red Educational Resources Congress and Trade Fair); the INTERNATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION AND ONGOING TRAINING FAIR, and SCHOOL DAY (Family and Schools Day), to create the largest education showcase in Spain. MADRID ES CIENCIA, organised by the Community of Madrid and Fundación madri+d, will share both the venue and the dates.
With participation numbers reaching 235 companies and entities and 146.296 visitors at the last edition, SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN (EDUCATION WEEK) is already established as Spain's leading educational community event. It is a place where young people can find options for their academic and professional future, and graduates can find an enormous range of opportunities to keep studying. Families will also find a broad range of schools and camps for their children. With a firm vocation to provide guidance through its exhibitors, SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN (EDUCATION WEEK) stands out from other education fairs.
New logo
To underline the value of bringing together such specialised events and enhance their individual profiles, the event will debut a new, more dynamic, and up-to-date logo, all intended to strengthen the SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN (EDUCATION WEEK) brand.
Likewise, each member exhibition at SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN (EDUCATION WEEK) will have a clearly differentiated area. This time, Hall 1 will house options aimed at an adult audience and professional visitors and THE INTERNATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION AND ONGOING TRAINING FAIR, E-Learning and the Congreso Red-INTERDIDAC de Recursos para la Educación (Congreso Red Educational Resources Congress and Trade Fair); Hall 3 will host AULA and SCHOOL DAY, and Hall 5 will contain more AULA contents, as well as the usual Educational Guidance Area and the MADRID ES SCIENCIA fair.
More days for SCHOOL DAY
The timetable for SCHOOL DAY, where families can find suitable schools for their children, has been extended from a single-day event to one that shares the same days as AULA, in other words, from Wednesday, 6 to Sunday, 10 March. This time, there will also be representatives of all kinds of camps.
In the meantime, the INTERNATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION AND ONGOING TRAINING FAIR will be held from 7 to 9 March.
A place for analysis and reflection
Along with an extensive and current exhibition offer, as is customary, SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN (EDUCATION WEEK) will be a space for high-level analysis and reflection through a comprehensive line-up of workshops, participatory areas for students and families, and teachers’ meetings.
In addition to this busy agenda of activities, there will be other specialised areas at SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN (EDUCATION WEEK), such as Educational Coexistence, Equality, Educational Robotics and Programming; contests and awards, such as the VIII CONVIVIR NO ES UN CUENTO contest in collaboration with the Council on Children's and Young People's Books, to name but a few.

Logotipo renovado
La convocatoria acude a su cita anual con un nuevo logotipo, más dinámico y actual, reforzando la marca SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN, al tiempo que potencia la visibilidad de cada uno de los salones integrados en ella, con el objetivo de subrayar el valor que aporta la suma de eventos tan especializados.
En esta misma línea, en esta edición cada uno de los salones integrantes en la SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN ofrecerá su propio espacio, claramente diferenciado. Así, el pabellón 1 concentrará la oferta dirigida a público adulto y visitantes profesionales, con el Salón Internacional de POSTGRADO Y FORMACIÓN CONTINUA, E-Learning y el Congreso Red- INTERDIDAC de Recursos para la Educación; el pabellón 3 acogerá la feria AULA, compartido con SCHOOLS DAYS y el pabellón 5, más contenidos de AULA , junto al habitual Área de Orientación Educativa y la feria MADRID ES CIENCIA.
SCHOOLS DAY amplía sus días de celebración
Como novedad, SCHOOLS DAY, dedicado a las familias que buscaban el mejor centro escolar para sus hijos, que hasta ahora se celebraba en una única jornada, amplía su celebración a los mismos días que AULA, es decir, desde el miércoles 6 al domingo 10 de marzo. Además, completará su oferta con toda clase de propuestas de campamentos.
Por su parte, el Salón Internacional de POSTGRADO Y FORMACIÓN CONTINUA, y el Congreso RED-INTERDIDAC de Recursos para la Educación, se desarrollarán del 7 al 9 de marzo.
Espacio de análisis y reflexión
Junto a la más amplia y actual oferta expositiva, la SEMANA DE LA EDUCACIÓN brindará, como es habitual, un espacio de análisis y reflexión de gran nivel, a través de una completa programación de talleres, áreas participativas para alumnado y familia, y encuentros del profesorado.
A esta intensa agenda de actividades, hay que añadir otras áreas especializadas de la SEMANA, como Convivencia Educativa, Igualdad, Robótica Educativa y Programación; concursos y premios, como el VIII Concurso CONVIVIR NO ES UN CUENTO en colaboración con el Consejo General del Libro Infantil y Juvenil y un largo etcétera.
