The next edition, to be held from 11 to 15 March at IFEMA MADRID, will reflect the most comprehensive overview of the current education and training system.

Semana de la Educación (Education Week), organised by IFEMA MADRID, is gearing up for its next edition, from 11 to 15 March, with enthusiastic participation from schools and colleges, public institutions, and organisations, creating one of the most comprehensive overviews of the training system in Spain.

With the motto "Sustainability: your future starts here", Semana de la Educación (Education Week) will bring together students, families, and professionals in Halls 12 and 14 around AULA, Digielearning, Postgraduate and Continuing Education, and Schools Day — an event that integrates academic guidance, professional training, and digital learning in a single venue.

A cross‑sectional representation of the educational ecosystem

At the university level, Semana de la Educación (Education Week) will feature institutions such as Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Universidad de Alcalá, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, Universidad Europea de Madrid, Universidad Camilo José Cela, Universidad Nebrija, Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), CUNEF Universidad, Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) and Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), alongside specialised centres such as ESIC University, UDIT, UNIE Universidad, Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), Centro Universitario U-tad, Istituto Europeo di Design, Escuni and Voxel School, which will present their offerings in areas such as business, technology, innovation and design.

Vocational Education will play a prominent role, with institutions such as CEAC FP, ILERNA Online, FP Euroformac, IFP, Davante and Universae taking part, alongside sectoral bodies such as the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción and the Fundación del Metal para la Formación, Cualificación y Empleo, the Society for Maritime Rescue and Safety (SASEMAR), Educación Azul and the State Vehicle Fleet (Parque Móvil del Estado), which will present technical pathways linked to strategic sectors. Alongside them, organisations such as Cruz Roja Española, Grupo Aspasia, Grupo Femxa Formación y Empleo and ISED will highlight programmes focused on employability and professional integration.

The institutional dimension of the event will be supported by a strong institutional presence from the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, Ministry of the Interior, the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), the Community of Madrid, Madrid City Council or Government of Catalonia, as well as public entities such as RENFE, among others, which will present training and career opportunities linked to the public administration and the country’s strategic sectors.

The offering will be rounded out by language centres and international programmes such as the British Council, EF Education First, Enforex, Sheffield Centre and Cambridge Institute Group, which will open up options for academic mobility and overseas study to visitors.

On the technology front, Digielearning, on 11 and 12 March, will feature leading centres in online training and digital solutions. This space is supported by the National Association of e‑Learning Centres and Providers (ANCYPEL), which emphasises that it will be “a strategic meeting point for the national e‑learning ecosystem”, and that this year it will be “inclusive and innovative,” driving convergence between remote learning and new educational technologies. Alongside the Association, companies such as ADR Formación, LTG Technologies Group, and Computer Aided E‑Learning will be present, reinforcing the innovative dimension of this area.

From 11 to 15 March, Semana de la Educación (Education Week) will once again become the epicentre of academic and career guidance. Tickets are already on sale on the Semana de la Educación (Education Week) website.
