The Fair will welcome 393 companies and brands and is backed by two promoter associations: the FYVAR Association of Manufacturers and Sellers of Promotional and Advertising Items, and the AIMFAP Association of Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers of Promotional Items. According to figures by the FYVAR, the sector that the Fair represents reached a turnover in Spain and Portugal of around €1 billion in 2017, surpassing the €850 million achieved in 2016.
Further in this direction, the President of the FYVAR and of the Organising Committee of PROMOGIFT, Gabriel Möese, pointed out the growing trend seen in this sector, having registered a 15 por ciento increase in both supply and demand in the first half of 2017. Practically the same growth was seen during the second half of last year, especially in the last two months.
With all of this in mind, PROMOGIFT will once again be a must for the main manufacturers, distributors and professional importers and intermediaries of promotional and advertising gifts, bringing their latest technological innovations to the Fair.
In his analysis of the Advertising Item sector, Möese highlights the “growing divide between companies with a consolidated technological and international structure and those that have maintained a strictly local commercial approach”. Möese also underlines the importance of fairs such as PROMOGIFT, which have become the basis for promoting companies in this economic segment, taking advantage of the “power and quality of the organisation of these events and the exhibitions themselves." “PROMOGIFT is an unbeatable example of trade fair power,” he adds.
