Private-label products now account for more than half of FMCG sales in Spain and are consolidating their role as one of the main drivers of growth in the food industry.

PRIVEL will make Madrid the key meeting place for professionals in the private label industry and has confirmed around 370 exhibitors, 210 of whom are food manufacturers.

IFEMA MADRID will host a new edition of PRIVEL on 4 and 5 November 2026, the private label trade fair organised in collaboration with Alimarket, which will once again make Madrid the major international meeting point for manufacturers, distributors and buyers in the sector.

Private label is currently experiencing one of the most dynamic periods in its history. According to Circana, private-label products account for more than 51 per cent of the Spanish consumer goods market by value, a figure that places Spain amongst the European countries with the highest penetration of this model and as a leader in innovation and development.

This growth is a result of a transformation in the market. Private-label products have evolved from a price-focused approach to one based on quality, innovation, sustainability and specialisation, gaining prominence in strategic food categories such as tinned foods, oils, dairy products, frozen foods, snacks, coffee, specialised nutrition, plant-based foods and health foods.

Reflecting this transformation of the industry, PRIVEL 2026 anticipates the participation of around 370 exhibitors, 210 of whom are leading manufacturers in these strategic food categories. Furthermore, the Fair has announced an increase in international representation, with participation from 17 different countries.

Against this backdrop, PRIVEL 2026 will showcase the strength of the entire private-label food value chain and bring together more than 210 manufacturers in the Food area, which accounts for 60% of the Fair. Among the companies already confirmed are leading firms such as Nauterra, Frinsa, Galletas Gullón, Congelados de Navarra, Grupo Iberolea, Refresco, Juver, Quesos El Pastor, Borges Medina Foods, Conservas Dani, Palacios Alimentación, Originia Foods, Grupo Apex, Grupo Alacant, Migasa, Urzante, Acesur or Helios.

Furthermore, international participation remains one of the event’s key priorities, reinforcing its aim of generating export opportunities and new trade agreements, as evidenced by the participation of companies from Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

In addition, we will be welcoming international buyers from Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, the United States, South Korea, Guatemala, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Ecuador, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, Germany and the United Kingdom, among others.

With an industry that continues to gain market share and strategic importance, PRIVEL 2026 stands as the essential business forum for companies that are shaping the future of private label in the food sector and seeking business and export opportunities, reinforcing IFEMA MADRID’s commitment to the development of an increasingly innovative, competitive and international sector.
