The International Bus and Coach Fair will bring together the leading players in the bus and coach sector, with more than 100 confirmed exhibitors and a program focused on innovation, sustainability and the major challenges facing collective road transport.

FIAA, the International Bus and Coach Fair, organised by IFEMA MADRID from 22 to 24 September 2026, has opened professional visitor registration for its upcoming edition, further strengthening its position as the benchmark event for collective road transport.

The fair already has more than 100 confirmed exhibitors, recording a 50% increase in international participation. The full list of exhibitors can be consulted on the website. Among the main manufacturers and bodybuilders that have confirmed their presence are: Irizar; Daimler Truck (Mercedes-Benz and Setra); Iveco; Yutong; BYD; Higer; Otokar – Somauto; Indcar; Karsan; Temsa; Solaris; Anadolu Isuzu; Marcopolo; Stylebus; Servicar; Zeroid; and Farizon, among others.

As for the activities program, the first day and the morning of the second day will focus on press presentations, during which exhibiting brands will present their main innovations, new product launches, and technological developments to media representatives.

FIAA will also host the 5th edition of the Minibus of the Year and will once again serve as the venue for the Sustainable Bus Awards, following the success of the previous edition, consolidating its role as the leading international showcase for recognizing innovation and sustainability in collective transport.

The fair’s content agenda will be structured around the major strategic pillars of the sector, addressing key issues such as the energy transition and electrification, new technologies, charging infrastructure, energy, and financing models.

It will also examine how operators and fleet managers are adapting to the new mobility challenges, the urban models that will define the future of public transport, public-private collaboration through transport consortiums, and dialogue with manufacturers. Another highlighted area will focus on grants and measures to facilitate obtaining a driving licence, one of the sector’s main challenges in terms of attracting and retaining talent.

As a new feature this year, FIAA will host for the first time a roundtable organized by Sustainable Bus Tour, entitled: “Building zero emission buses through partnerships. Platforms, investments, industrial strategies.” This forum will analyse how the progress of zero-emission vehicles is transforming the European industrial ecosystem, as well as collaboration models between manufacturers, operators and public administrations.

Industry Momentum and Professional Focus

At the same time, FIAA has been working for months with the sector’s main associations — ANETRA, ASCABUS, ATUC, CONFEBUS, DIREBUS and FECAV — and internationally with ARP (Portugal) and FBAA (Belgium), with the aim of encouraging attendance by operators and fleet managers, further strengthening the fair’s professional, representative, and sector-focused character.
