Madrid will once again become the main meeting point for the bus and coach sector, with the sixteenth edition of the International Bus and Coach Fair (FIAA), to be held from 22 to 24 September 2026 in Halls 7 and 9 of IFEMA MADRID.
For three days, FIAA will consolidate its position as the leading trade fair in southern Europe, a place where manufacturers, operators, distributors, fleet managers and public administrations will discover first-hand the main innovations in complete vehicles - chassis, bodywork, components, accessories and technology - as well as solutions in maintenance, transport infrastructure, services, associations and organisations in the sector. Exhibitors looking to participate can now apply via the website Exhibitors: how to participate | FIAA
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase innovations in vehicles, technologies and collective transport solutions, in an environment that combines an exhibition, professional conferences, seminars and activities to foster networking and business relations.
Objective: international growth
In order to boost its international projection, FIAA is already working to attract international buyers, in close collaboration with local road passenger transport associations in strategic countries. This is in addition to an ambitious guest buyer programme, designed to ensure the attendance of key customers who will encourage exhibitors to open up to new markets with great opportunities for the industry.
These initiatives will follow on from the great progress made at the last edition of FIAA, held in 2024, when over 11,000 professional visitors attended (up 57% on 2022), of which 16% were international, from 48 countries, and 100 exhibiting companies (85% of the national market share).
Full schedule of parallel activities
Alongside the main exhibition area, FIAA 2026 will also feature a packed schedule of seminars, conferences and professional meetings, making it a space for analysis, debate and reflection on current affairs and the future of the sector. This programme includes the Minibus of the Year Awards, which recognise the R&D efforts of one of the most important segments of the industry, and the Sustainable Bus of the Year, highlighting innovation and sustainability. These awards add differential value to the event, projecting FIAA in the international arena and cementing its prestige within the sector.
