FIAA 2024 to host the judging of the Sustainable Bus Awards

These are the only European awards to recognise the sustainability of buses, across three categories: Local, Regional and Coach. A panel of judges made up of journalists from the ten leading magazines in the sector in their respective countries will evaluate the competing vehicles, after analysing the performance of the participating buses. The vehicles with the most nominations will move onto the list of finalists, which will be announced in early June.

After the first phase, the Panel of Judges for the Sustainable Bus Awards will perform a detailed assessment of the selected vehicles, following rigorous criteria which include the examination of the engine, the transmission, safety, comfort and sustainability, in collaboration with the vehicle manufacturers.

By rewarding the greenest bus, these awards, based on a cross-cutting image of sustainability, also aim to convey to the public a positive image of an industry firmly committed to delivering more efficient, cleaner and safer vehicles.
