From 22 to 25 October 2024

More than a hundred companies, including leading ASCABUS Association coachbuilders, will attend IFEMA MADRID from 22 to 25 October 2024.

The revitalisation of the bus and coach industry has been faithfully reflected in the marketing of FIAA 2024. Six months before it is due to be held, the event has confirmed the participation of more than one hundred companies, with 80% of the available space being already taken up.  The International Bus and Coach Trade Fair, FIAA 2024, which will hold its fifteenth edition from 22 to 25 October, has decided, given the good expectations, to extend its exhibition space by adding an extra hall, occupying halls 8 and 10, with 66% more square metres. This has solved the high demand, especially concentrated in the last two months, following the allocation of stands that started last February.

As a matter of fact, more than a hundred companies, including the main vehicle manufacturers, auxiliary industry and coachbuilders of the National Association of Bus Body Manufacturers, ASCABUS, have already confirmed their participation in FIAA. The sector's employers' association once again confirms its support for its benchmark trade fair in southern Europe, as the best commercial platform and showcase for its latest innovations and R&D capacity. This number of exhibitors represents 75% of the market share of bus and coach brands in Spain, which means a high level of representation to which new participations will be added. Also noteworthy is the level of loyalty, with a large percentage of companies repeating their participation from previous editions.  This high business response confirms the clear recovery of the bus and coach industry.

The Fair also receives support from the rest of associations of this important economic segment with their presence at FIAA. Among those are ANETRA, the National Association of Coach and Bus Companies; ATUC, the Association of Urban and Metropolitan Public Transport; CONFEBUS, the Spanish Bus and Coach Association; DIREBUS, the Association of Coach and Bus Companies, y ANTROP, the National Passenger Transport Association of Portugal.

In addition to its exhibition area, FIAA will feature a wide-ranging programme of parallel events, including the Press Day on Tuesday, 22 October-, and the traditional Minibus of The Year Award ceremony, among other activities.

Besides, FIAA 2024 will reinforce its international expansion, developing an ambitious programme of guest buyers from the main markets of interest for the sector, in close collaboration with the stakeholders from these countries of origin.

The application period remains open for those companies wishing to participate in the Fair. They can still do so via the FIAA website:
