ExpoÓptica 2024 presents a new edition for a sector with a healthy outlook
• The trade show will have dedicated areas for Optics and Optometry, Audiology, and Optical Fashion
IFEMA MADRID has announced that the next edition of ExpoÓptica 2024 will be held from 12 to 14 April 2024. The optics, optometry, and audiology sector's leading event on the Iberian Peninsula will be housed in Hall 10 of the Recinto Ferial uninterruptedly from 10 to 20 on 12 and 13 April and from 10 to 18 on 14 April.
A healthy sector
ExpoÓptica 2024 will take place during a period of growth for the sector. According to the Data from the Sectorial Observatory DBK report published by Modaengafas.com, 2023 is expected to end the year with a figure of 2.6 billion euros, exceeding the number achieved before the social and health crisis caused by COVID-19. Expectations for 2024 are also high, with the industry expected to turn over 2.7 billion euros.
With support from the Organising Committee and the General Council of the Colleges of Opticians-Optometrists of Spain, the 34th ExpoÓptica will coincide with the 28th OPTOM Congress 2024 in a climate of optimism.
New developments
Innovative content and trends in the optical, optometry, and audiology industries will be presented at the event. Optical fashion is also set to be a thriving area, showcasing a plethora of new trends and designs that fuse visual health and personal image.
As for the Audiology sector, and in the wake of the success achieved at the last meeting, the 2024 edition will include a dedicated area to showcase innovations in this booming business sector. Likewise, and with a prominent role, the ExpoÓptica Forum will include interesting seminars and presentations to take the sector's pulse and understand what is in store for the future.
