The Salón de la Óptica, la Optometría y la Audiología (International Optics, Optometry and Audiology Exhibition) doubles its commitment to Optical Fashion with this area for designer frame brands and distributors in the mid-high and high-end segment.

The Salón de la Óptica, la Optometría y la Audiología (International Optics, Optometry and Audiology Exhibition), organised by IFEMA MADRID and scheduled to take place from Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 April, is doubling its commitment to Optical Fashion. The GLAM Space will be a new bespoke exhibition area for fashion and design brands seeking immediate visibility for stand-out products. These will include everything from fashion frames and designer glasses to premium accessories, capsule collections, and sustainable and limited-edition products, facilitating their entry into the professional ecosystem in a strategic space.

The GLAM Space is open to alternative brands needing a setting specifically designed for their market niche in ExpoÓptica, guaranteeing professional traffic, and to commercial agents and optical fashion distributors who represent lifestyle, urban, premium, and designer brands and seek a direct, dynamic opportunity to connect with visiting opticians.

Designed for the mid-high and high-end markets, Espacio GLAM will feature more than 15 companies from Italy, France, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates, offering an exclusive opportunity for the designer frame segment. With a uniform, refined aesthetic, it will serve as a natural meeting point between fashion brands and professional buyers, enhancing visibility by showcasing everything under one roof.

Exposición Origen, an optical journey from 1750

During the three days of ExpoÓptica, the centre of Hall 10 will be dominated by Exposición Origen, a painstakingly curated and intriguing collection of glasses and frames from 1750 to the early 20th century. Drawn from the private collection of Martinez-Amat and loaned by the Consejo General de Colegio de Ópticos-Optometristas, this beautifully staged exhibition is sure to delight and fascinate all professional visitors.

The traditional Optical Fashion area complements these new features included in recent editions of the fair, where the latest collections from national and international brands will be presented, all boasting design with technical performance and eye health care. The addition of the Glam Space and Fashion Optics, along with the retrospective view of the Origin Exhibition, will ensure visitors have a comprehensive view of the season's trends.

From Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 April, in Hall 10 of IFEMA MADRID, ExpoÓptica + Audio will once again welcome the optics and audiology sector in a professional and highly specialised environment for business, sponsored by seQura Eyewear, a comprehensive solution for opticians that combines subscription, management platform, and new visual care experiences.
