Optical Fashion: International design in the spotlight at ExpoÓptica 2026
From 9 to 11 April, leading brands will showcase eyewear trends that combine style and eye health.
The Salón de la Óptica, la Optometría y la Audiología (International Optics and Optometry Exhibition) organised by IFEMA MADRID from Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 April, will be a great meeting for national and international eyewear fashion brands that share a strategy: contemporary design with technical performance and visual health care.
This year, the Optical Fashion area feature the Design Eyewear Group, Morel, De Rigo, Blackfin, Woodys, SeaPort ODLM, Thema Optical, Orgreen, Go Eyewear, Proóptica Iberia, Jisco, Visionario Le Parc, Opti‑Privèe, Zoco Eyewear and Zen Eyewear, among other brands, who will be there with collections designed for discerning consumers seeking identity, durability, and comfort without compromising on innovation.
Trade visitors will also enjoy a comprehensive overview of the trends shaping the season: frames with bold geometries and harmonious asymmetries that define the face; reinterpretations of the seventies and eighties spirit with a contemporary twist; coloured lenses that offer aesthetic nuances without sacrificing functionality; new‑generation materials with a focus on sustainability—from biodegradable acetates to bamboo designs; minimalist lines with ultra‑thin profiles; and, as a major driver of transformation, technologies incorporating photochromic lenses or smart solutions that respond to increasingly connected lifestyles.
Three days serving the profession
For their 35th edition, ExpoÓptica and ExpoAudio are concentrating their exhibition offering into three working days, with the strategic aim of strengthening their professional character in a more specialised environment, from 10:00 to 20:00. With a new format adapted to the reality of the sectors, the Salón de la Óptica, la Optometría y la Audiología (International Optics and Optometry Exhibition) will bring together leading optical‑fashion brands, manufacturers, distributors, training centres and suppliers, from specialised software developers to equipment for hearing and optical centres, thereby driving commercial dynamism through this broad representation.
