More than 100 companies have confirmed their participation two months ahead of the Iberian Peninsula's leading optics, optometry, and audiology fair, which will be held from 12 to 14 April. IFEMA MADRID organises the event. ExpoÓptica will also host the OPTOM Congress 2024 and the Congress of the Spanish Association of Hearing Aid Professionals (ANA).

Two months ahead of ExpoÓptica, the Iberian Peninsula's leading optics, optometry and audiology exhibition, organiser IFEMA MADRID has announced a 25% increase in exhibitor numbers compared to the last edition in 2022. The event will take place from 12 to 14 April.

This time, with a trade fair model tailored to the demands of the optical and audiology sector, the event will be more digital and modern. It will also feature new national and international fashion and health brands as well as innovative content aimed at driving business and sharing knowledge.

ExpoÓptica 2024 has already signed more than 100 exhibitors, including top optical fashion brands - a thriving segment at this new event - such as Mr. Boho, Morel Eyewear, Woodys Eyewear, Visibilia, Grupo Velada and Servisión, among others, which will showcase their latest trends and designs to integrate visual health with personal image. What's more, in its commitment to knowledge and training, Foro EXPOÓPTICA will offer sessions on business sales and management.

In the wake of its previous success, the Audiology sector will have spaces dedicated to the latest innovations, particularly the EXPOAUDIO Forum, which will house a selection of fascinating conferences and presentations.

ExpoÓptica will also host the Congreso OPTOM 2024 (OPTOM 2024 Congress), which will address subjects like ‘The evolution of the visual system in species’, the keynote lectures ‘Gene Therapy’ and ‘Light in Optometry and Ophthalmology’, as well as three plenary sessions: “Healthy ageing in eye care”; “Artificial intelligence: the impact of new technologies on our routine professional practice” and “Prevention and control of myopia”. The Spanish Association of Hearing Aid Professionals (ANA) will hold its Annual Congress on 13 April with the theme “Let’s talk about Prosthetic Audiology” to discuss professionalism, innovation in technology and the future of retail in Spain.

ExpoÓptica 2024 will be held in Hall 10 of the Recinto Ferial uninterruptedly from 10.00 to 20.00 on 12 and 13 April and from 10.00 to 18.00 on 14 April.
