EXPODENTAL 2026 strengthens its international reach by bringing together more than 30,000 professionals
Business activity is growing, and international attendance has increased, with 8% more foreign visitors from 75 countries, reinforcing the fair’s global positioning and growing interest in the Spanish market.
The Salón Internacional de Equipos, Productos y Servicios Dentales (International Dental Equipment, Supplies and Services Show) closed its 2026 edition with a significant increase in commercial activity and the success of the new dates, which have attracted a fully business-focused visitor profile. EXPODENTAL coincided with the first edition of EXPOMEDES, the new Feria Profesional de Tecnología e Innovación en Medicina Estética, EXPOMEDES (Fair of Technology and Innovation in Aesthetic Medicine).
EXPODENTAL, the Salón Internacional de Equipos, Productos y Servicios Dentales (International Dental Equipment, Supplies and Services Show) organised by IFEMA MADRID, with support from the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (Fenin), has closed its 2026 edition with excellent results, confirming its leadership as the most important professional platform for the dental sector in Spain and a landmark event on the European calendar.
More than 30,000 trade visitors took part in an event marked by a more specialised audience profile, an increase in the volume of business generated by exhibiting companies and a growing international impact.
As noted by Luis Garralda, president of Fenin’s dental sector, “the excellent results of EXPODENTAL 2026 confirm the dynamism and strength of the dental sector in Spain. The growth in international attendance, the professional profile of visitors and the increase in business generated reflect the market’s confidence in this event and in the industry’s ability to continue innovating and offering solutions that add value to clinical practice.”
International growth of 8% and 75 countries in attendance
The 2026 edition saw progress in the global reach of EXPODENTAL. With an 8% increase in international visitors, the fair welcomed more than 2,500 trade visitors from 75 countries, confirming its importance as a meeting place for companies and buyers in the European and Latin American markets.
The majority of foreign visitors came from Portugal, Italy, France and Germany, and there were also delegations from other European countries, Latin America and Asia. These diverse origins create new opportunities in distribution, technological development, digital solutions, implantology, and advanced clinical equipment.
A more professional event and higher business return
The change in dates enabled the fair to target a strictly professional model, replacing the traditional Saturday — which was more social in nature — with three days focused on business, technical demonstrations, and meetings between manufacturers, distributors, clinics, and laboratories.
This adjustment has resulted in a more balanced distribution of visitor flow, with the first day (Wednesday) recording even higher attendance than Thursday in the previous edition, a clear sign of the sector's strong response.
In this context, EXPODENTAL was scheduled strategically to coincide with the first edition of EXPOMEDES, the new Feria Profesional de Tecnología e Innovación en Medicina Estética, EXPOMEDES (Fair of Technology and Innovation in Aesthetic Medicine), which, with its B2B profile, helped create a more elevated fair ecosystem, increasing attendance, visibility, and commercial synergies.
Business support at EXPODENTAL
The business impetus of EXPODENTAL 2026 was boosted by NACEX's participation, which, as a fair sponsor, confirmed its commitment to innovation and excellence through advanced courier solutions to optimise distribution in the dental sector.
