Swegon will present its GOLD RX air handling units at the trade fair
At C&R 2023, Swedish air conditioning manufacturer Swegon will exhibit new products such as the GOLD RX air handling units with recycled steel XCarb RRP; the R290 range of reversible heat pumps with natural propane refrigerant; chilled beams, diffusers and other accessories; and digital and control services, according to the company.
Swegon, the Swedish air conditioning manufacturer, returns as an exhibitor at C&R 2023 with the latest innovations in its various product and service ranges. Some of the new products on display (hall 9, stand 9D14) are as follows: GOLD RX air handling units with XCarb® RRP recycled steel and at least 70% less carbon footprint than traditional steels; the R290 range of reversible heat pumps with natural propane refrigerant; terminal units (chilled beams, diffusers and other accessories); and digital and control services (Swegon INSIDE and Swegon WISE ), to create a complete indoor climate solution for maximum comfort.
GOLD RX with recycled steel XCarb® RRP
GOLD RX air handling units made from Magnelis XCarb RRP steel (recycled and produced renewably and with at least 70% less carbon footprint than traditional steels) are extremely energy efficient. Swegon is gradually introducing Magnelis XCarb® RRP into their production of GOLD Air Handling Units. It is developed mainly from recycled steel and uses 100% renewable energy in the manufacturing process, and the overall global warming potential (GWP) is expected to be reduced by approximately 20% with this transition. In short, the same high performance in terms of energy efficiency, but with a significantly lower CO2 impact.
R290 range of heat pumps
This is the new range of heat pumps with GWP=3 thanks to the natural refrigerant propane (R290), in line with the motto "mission ZERO emissions". This range includes the Omicron Zero, the first multifunctional 4-pipe unit with natural refrigerant propane certified by Eurovent; Sigma Zero, a high-efficiency water-to-water heat pump with natural refrigerant R-290; Titan Sky, a reversible heat pump with full inverter reciprocating compressors and plate heat exchangers; and the Geyser Sky, a full inverter reversible heat pump with natural refrigerant.
Chilled beams, diffusers and other accessories
The product range of terminal units is very extensive, from inductors/cold beams to diffusers, silencers, dampers and plenums. Some of them will be on display at C&R 2023.
Swegon WISE and Swegon INSIDE
In addition, it will also be possible to test some of Swegon's services. Swegon WISE, the demand-driven climate control system, and Swegon INSIDE, Swegon's digital services, are "perfect complements to create a comprehensive indoor climate solution that provides maximum comfort", says the company.
