The next edition of International Construction Week moves forward: over 420 registered companies with nine months to go
The strategic agreement with CEPCO, which chairs the Organising Committee, solidifies the market standing of CONSTRUTEC, VETECO, SMART DOORS and PISCIMAD, which have already reached 75% of their total 2024 occupancy levels.
International Construction Week 2026, to be held from 10 to 13 November at IFEMA MADRID, is making steady progress towards its next edition, backed by significant growth and a robust response from the industrial sector. With nine months still remaining, more than 420 companies have already formally requested to participate. This figure represents 75% of the total occupancy recorded during the 2024 edition, a clear indicator of the industry's continued confidence in this major professional gathering.
This momentum is further bolstered by the strategic agreement with CEPCO (the Spanish Confederation of Construction Product Manufacturer Associations). In its role as chair of the CONSTRUTEC Organising Committee, CEPCO is strengthening the industry's presence and representation, ensuring this event remains the essential fixture for the built environment value chain.
Luis Rodulfo, President of both CEPCO and the CONSTRUTEC Organising Committee, stated: "International Construction Week is an indispensable forum for showcasing the innovative and transformative power of the Spanish construction industry. We are working, within the framework of these four co-located events, to drive a more industrialised, sustainable and competitive sector. The response from participating companies confirms that we are moving in the right direction, establishing this gathering as the premier professional benchmark in our country".
The event, which will receive the support of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, the Community of Madrid, major industry associations and institutions, and the national and international technical press, will once again integrate four leading trade fairs in the construction sector: CONSTRUTEC, VETECO, SMART DOORS and PISCIMAD. Together, these form a unified project designed to drive a modern, industrialised and sustainable ecosystem, connecting every link in the industry value chain.
An essential event for the sector
The previous edition, held in 2024, reaffirmed the strategic importance of this gathering, achieving the following results:
- More than 42,000 m² of exhibition space
- 46,700 accredited professionals
- 560 participating companies
- Visitors from more than 80 countries
These statistics confirm International Construction Week as the leading hub for business development, innovation, knowledge transfer and the internationalisation of the industry.
2nd International Construction Week Congress: defining the industry's future
The 2026 edition will host the 2nd International Construction Week Congress, the premier venue for strategic analysis and industry-wide debate. The congress will feature more than 100 speakers and offer over 80 high-level sessions and activities.
The programme is structured around five strategic axes: Industrialised Construction, Sustainability and the Circular Economy, Digitalisation, Industry Leadership and Business Strategy, and Talent and People.
The forum is specifically designed for construction firms, developers, manufacturers, distributors, architects, engineers, specifiers, public authorities, and key agents of transformation within the sector.
Participation opportunities still available for 2026
Interested companies still have time to request their exhibition space and join this landmark edition through the four core fairs that make up the event: CONSTRUTEC, VETECO, SMART DOORS and PISCIMAD.
