IFEMA invites the building sector to The Miss: a B2B Summit+Expo by Epower & Building "Getting to Zero"

IFEMA continues its big project in the building sector, alternating the call for Epower & Building to be held in November 2022 with the celebration of The Miss: a B2B Summit+Expo by Epower & Building “Getting to Zero”, which will take place from 16 to 18 November 2021, in hybrid format, and coinciding with GENERA and CLIMATIZACIÓN Y REFRIGERACIÓN, C&R

The Congress and Exhibition will have a face-to-face exhibition area that will be added to an intense agenda of seminars, round tables and professional conferences, and a programme of B2B commercial appointments, which will serve to publicise the most innovative solutions in the field of construction, as well as the opportunities offered by the refurbishment of homes and neighbourhoods, access to financing and return on investment.

One of the cross-cutting themes of the Congress which all companies in the construction, building, electrification and lighting and automation sectors participating in The Miss: a B2B Summit+Expo by Epower & Building are part of is the energy efficiency of homes, buildings, and cities. This call will show how companies align themselves with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050, in line with the Just Transition Strategy, which aims to optimise the employment opportunities offered by the transition to a decarbonised economy.

A transcendental issue that it shares with the Genera and C&R halls, the joint celebration which is justified by the reality that building stock consolidates one third of greenhouse gas emissions. The building sector represents 30% of final energy consumption (18% corresponds to homes and 12% to the tertiary sector). Likewise, the three events coincide in order to enhance the awareness of citizens about the advantages of rehabilitation that generates not only economic savings but also an improvement in the quality of life.

All the activity of The Miss: a B2B Summit+Expo by Epower & Building "Getting to Zero" will be available on the GENERA LIVE CONNECT virtual platform, a large sectorial community whose scope will be highly focussed on the Ibero-American field and where participants are able to figure prominently and achieve high profitability.

Prior to its announcement in November, different webinars will be organised on current issues of sectorial interest, which firms participating in the Fair will collaborate in.

The new The Miss: a B2B Summit+Expo by Epower & Building "Getting to Zero" has the collaboration of associations and institutions linked to the macro-call of ePower & Building which, in its last edition held in November 2018, recorded almost 90,000 professional participants (15% foreign) and more than 1,600 companies.  For its part, GENERA 2020 closed its 23rd edition with 18,886 professionals from 64 countries, and 237 companies from 16 nations. Regarding C & R-CLIMATIZACIÓN and REFRIGERACIÓN, in 2019, it boasted 374 exhibitors and welcomed 54,781 professionals from 88 countries.
