Bisutex, the International Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Exhibition, has concluded its September edition after four days during which more than 4,400 professionals visited the offerings of over 450 brands from more than 15 countries. From 24 to 27 September, Hall 4 at IFEMA MADRID brought together a wide range of fashion jewellery, costume jewellery, leather goods, handbags, umbrellas, travel accessories, and other accessories. This year, the event also included a selection of textile fashion brands.

The edition showcased a broader range of products, with particular emphasis on design, quality finishes, and the collections set to mould the coming seasons. Among the trends showcased were larger statement pieces, the return of classics such as brooches, a renewed emphasis on craftsmanship, and a stronger use of colour. Meanwhile, the new textile offering previewed proposals for the spring/summer 2027 season.

This addition broadened Bisutex’s traditional scope, bringing fashion jewellery, accessories, leather goods, and fashion together in one venue, with products intended for boutiques, multi-brand retailers, and specialist buyers. The main exhibition in Hall 4 took place alongside the traditional direct-to-trade sales in Halls 1 and 2, as well as the simultaneous Madridjoya fair.

At the same time, the organisers are already working on the future development of Bisutex, to adapt the event to new market dynamics and the changes in fashion jewellery and accessories marketing and sales. This new strategy will attract new types of exhibiting companies and trade visitors, broadening the event’s reach and strengthening its response to the sector’s current needs.

Emerging design and new proposals round off the event

Emerging talent once again had a space at Bisutex Talents and the MINIS area, which introduced professional buyers to independent designers, handcrafted products, and brands offering distinctive proposals. Madrid-based brand DeChavarri was named the winner of Bisutex Talents 2026 with Victoria, a handcrafted leather goods collection produced entirely in Spain. The brand presented its proposal in MINIS, reaffirming the quality of its design, creativity, and craftsmanship.

Bisutex also featured regional participation, with ten brands taking part under the Málaga de Moda label, promoted by Malaga Provincial Council. The brands brought a range of jewellery, accessories, and craft products to the fair. The event thus concluded four days focused on products, new collections, and the different ways of understanding the world of accessories today.

The next edition of Bisutex will take place from 4 to 7 February 2027, coinciding with Intergift and MOMAD, and once again creating a major professional circuit centred on the lifestyle sector.
