St Jerome, carved in alabaster. Attributed to Damián Forment (1480–1540), Valencia.
Dimensions: 46.5 cm high x 38 cm wide.
The careful attention to symmetry and balance is evident in a figure crafted down to the finest detail, where the restrained tension in the fingers, the meticulous rendering of the hair, and the delicate definition of his face and ears make this a work of immense quality and significance.
ASTARLOA
Gossip: Anselmo Guinea, 1904. 1904. Dimensions: 46 x 96 cm.
In this work, Guinea showcases his exceptional compositional ability. He positions the group of net-menders on the right, leaving a substantial void on the opposite side. This void draws the viewer's attention towards the subject of their conversation: a fisherman approaching them along the shoreline. The young woman in the foreground with her back to the viewer also contributes to the construction of space, lending a certain air of mystery.
The painter also reveals his talent for drawing, particularly in his use of colour. This is distributed across two harmonious yet independent areas, separated by the diagonal line that structures the surface of the work. The lower, shaded area has a tendency towards cool tones, broken only by flashes of bright light filtering through the trees, while the upper area is illuminated by a warm, intense Mediterranean light. The influence of Joaquín Sorolla’s beach paintings is clearly evident in this second area, which is dominated by pinks, oranges and reds.

An original table lamp by Ecolight Milano, manufactured in Italy in the late 1960s (c. 1968), at the height of the Space Age movement. This model features the iconic ‘mushroom lamp’ design, with an organic silhouette and balanced proportions that evoke the futuristic aesthetic characteristic of Italian design of the period. Crafted with a moulded acrylic base and an opal glass diffuser, it combines a vibrant orange hue with opal white, creating a soft, enveloping light.
The original label inside confirms its authenticity as an Ecolight Milano piece, reinforcing its value as a collector’s item within mid-20th-century European design.
Its formal language aligns with contemporary Italian design by figures such as Gaetano Sciolari, representing an era in which design explored new forms, materials and concepts linked to the Space Age.
It features balanced proportions and a striking visual presence, with a height of 38 cm, a base diameter of 23 cm and a maximum opal glass diameter of 37 cm. A sculptural, functional and highly decorative piece, ideal for sophisticated interiors, design collections or spaces with a mid-century and Space Age aesthetic.

Diana of Gabii, bronze, France, c. 1850
Height 69 cm, width 21 cm, depth 18 cm
A sculpture of Diana of Gabii, representing a reinterpretation in patinated bronze of this widely admired classical model. It stands out for its technical quality and formal balance, characteristic of mid-19th-century French Neoclassicism. Its value lies in its fidelity to the classical ideal, evident in the harmony of its proportions, the refined treatment of the drapery and the serenity of the face, as well as in the use of a fine material, worked with precision and preserved in excellent condition. The size of the piece and the absence of a maker’s mark—common in works intended for a cultured private market—are unusual, reinforcing its representative character within bourgeois decorative sculpture and making the piece an eloquent testimony to the survival and spread of classical taste in the domestic sphere of the
