From 6 to 14 April, Hall 3 at IFEMA MADRID will become a magnet for lovers of decoration, art, antiques, fashion and collecting. Thousands of unique pieces, all at least 50 years old, will be available from the 80 traders, antiquarians and gallery owners who will exhibit at this year's Antik Almoneda. If you are looking to give a special touch to your home or want to create unique, welcoming rooms, this nine-day fair will be the best place to find precisely the furniture and decorative objects you have been dreaming of. From classic furniture to unique avant-garde pieces capable of creating bold, exciting looks, as well as daring, warm and harmonious atmospheres. Antik Almoneda is open to the public and exhibits thousands of objects and works of art to suit all tastes and pockets, with special pieces of different styles, times and origins.

In Miguel Cebrián Antigüedades, visitors will find history, furniture, and unique, highly decorative, authentic, and original objects from past times. The gallery will show treasures such as a set of ten chairs from a palace and an Aragonese pine table with its original 18th-century polychrome.

Marita Segovia will be back at the fair with a wonderful mix of creations from yesterday and today, as well as ancient and contemporary art. Among other wonders, there will be an angel lamp in carved wood and stoffa of the 17th-century Sevillian School, two 20th-century French neoclassical-style pine wood chests painted in green and white, with three long drawers flanked by columns carved on turned legs, and a white Carrara marble single-legged table originating in Italy.

Meanwhile, Antigüedades Merale will bring along French and Portuguese cupboards, dining tables, mirrors, armchairs, cutlery, tableware and decorative objects from past times. Among other delights, it will show a pair of Portuguese corner cupboards from the late 19th century and a Louis Philippe chest.

The Ruiz Linares space will host a wonderful selection of antiques, objects, and furniture, including crafts from the Granada region and the rest of Spain. One highlight is a 17th-century Spanish table with lyre legs and iron fixtures.

Joan & Joana Gallery will offer, among other objects, a cameo Art Nouveau glass vase by Emile Galle, an Art Deco enamel vase by Camille Faure, and an Art Deco bronze sculpture on a marble base by Affortunato Gory.

The Luis Carvajal Gallery will exhibit a pair of 19th-century Venetians in ebonised and gilded wood and a pair of neoclassical Medici cast iron cups.

The antiquarian Howards Antiques, which specialises in religious art and liturgical objects, will present a collection of miniature reliquaries and prayer books painted in copper or glass, as well as an image of Christ tied to a column carved in Neapolitan wood from the 18th century, among other pieces.

Antik Almoneda, organised by IFEMA MADRID, will be held from 6 to 14 April from 11.30 to 20.30. It will be a fascinating journey through thousands of objects and works of art for all tastes and pockets, special pieces of different styles, times and origins.
