The new hall was recently inaugurated for the CPhI Worldwide, the world's largest pharmaceutical trade fair, celebrated between 6 and 11 October. The fair will occupy the entire site, in addition to two large marquees built for this large event, which will receive 2,500 companies and 45,000 professionals from around the world during the week.

Features of Hall 5.1

This hall differs from the others that make up the complex. It is designed around a new layout and using materials that differentiate it from the rest, although it has been built to last and with all the equipment required to host all manner of fairs and events.

This new space is located on the esplanade behind Hall 5 and measures 55 x 85 metres. It has 4,675 square metres of floor space, plus 150 square metres of corridors connecting it to Hall 5. It measures seven metres in height at its lowest point, rising to a height of 14 metres at its highest.

Hall 5.1 is also equipped with the greatest possible comforts for this type of facilities, including access ramps for people of reduced mobility.

A total of €2.8 million was earmarked for the construction of Hall 5.1, as part of the 2018 global investment plan, which encompasses a total of €25 million. Over the next 5 years, IFEMA’s Strategic Plan includes an expected investment of €100 million for the improvement and installation of infrastructure, communications, digitalisation and security.
