IFEMA strengthens its collaboration with Asociación de Promotores Musicales

The versatility of the sites, the team and the technologically advanced facilities are some of the reasons why IFEMA venues are among the best for hosting this type of event in Madrid

IFEMA has reached a collaboration agreement with Asociación de Promotores Musicales (APM) whereby the former will have the status of Venue Partner. The aim is to improve IFEMA's position as a leading venue for holding concerts, events and festivals for the general public.

IFEMA's two venues - Feria de Madrid and IFEMA Palacio Municipal - are designed to host high-capacity events, for which they have an experienced team and top-tier technological equipment. In addition, the ease of getting to the venues thanks to superb transport connections make them among the most ideal settings for holding this kind of event in Madrid.

IFEMA, Feria de Madrid has a surface area of over 200,000 m2, spread over 12 halls and the new Espacio 5.1 and 5 outdoor sites. For its part, IFEMA Palacio Municipal has an Auditorium with 1,812 seats. The versatility of these venues enables them to be configured differently for each use case: indoor, outdoor or mixed, depending on the needs of each event. IFEMA plans to host more than 500,000 people at concerts, musical events and shows scheduled for 2019.

The optimal conditions of the IFEMA venues, as well as their adaptability to promoter needs, have been shown by the holding of major festivals, such as RÍO BABEL; electronic music concerts by major international performers such as ORO VIEJO, SENSATION, DON’T LET DADDY KNOW and DGTL, and shows such as CIRCLASSICA and 33 EL MUSICAL, in addition to the new festivals LOVE THE TUENTI'S, WEEKEND CITY FESTIVAL and MADRID SALVAJE, which will première at IFEMA this year.

Over the past week the IFEMA Concert and Festivals Management team has participated in the Annual Meeting of APM to present the range of IFEMA venues on offer for these types of events, while also meeting with the country’s top concert, festival and show promoters.
