Motortec Chile 2026: The Perfect Trade Show for Repair Shop Owners and Aftermarket Professionals

The trade show, organized by FISA and IFEMA MADRID, will take place from June 18 to 20, 2026, at Espacio Riesco, with the aim of strengthening training, innovation, and professional development for those working in the automotive aftermarket.

Constant technological advances and new challenges in the automotive industry demand professionals who are increasingly well-trained and up-to-date. In this context, Motortec Chile 2026 will be the ideal venue for repair shop owners and aftermarket specialists to learn firsthand about the latest industry trends, gain access to new tools, and strengthen their knowledge in the face of a constantly evolving industry.

The countdown is on for the opening of the most important automotive parts and services trade show in Latin America. The grand opening will take place on June 18, with the event running through June 20. Organizers hope to surpass last year’s attendance figures, bringing together companies, brands, distributors, and professionals in the automotive aftermarket sector.

Organized by FISA, part of the GL events Chile group, and IFEMA MADRID, the trade show aims to serve as a platform for professional development and training for those who work daily in auto repair shops, technical service centers, and specialized facilities, in a landscape shaped by electromobility, advanced diagnostic systems, and the integration of new technologies into the vehicle fleet.

“Today, auto repair shop owners face a much more technologically advanced and dynamic industry, where training and access to specialized information are essential. Motortec aims precisely to provide a platform for connecting with the new trends, tools, and solutions that are shaping the development of the aftermarket,” said María de los Ángeles Troncoso, commercial manager of Motortec Chile.

In line with this, the trade show will feature exhibits of equipment, tools, spare parts, technological solutions, and services geared toward the automotive sector, as well as professional activities and spaces focused on knowledge exchange among specialists and industry representatives.

In addition, Motortec Chile 2026 will seek to strengthen the bond between brands and repair shops, promoting opportunities to network, learn about innovations, and address the challenges currently facing the automotive aftermarket.

“Workshop technicians play a vital role in the industry, and today they need to stay up to date with the technological changes taking place in the sector. The trade show aims to make a concrete contribution to that professional development,” added Troncoso.

Professional forum

In fact, one of the key events for this training program for repair shop technicians is the Professional Forum. This event is specifically designed to help those working in the automotive sector stay informed about new trends and understand what is being discussed with an eye toward the future.

So far, four panel discussions have been confirmed for the event. “The car has changed. What about the repair shop?”, “The transportation industry’s 2030 agenda”, “The transmission is no longer forgiving”, and “Repairing well is not enough” are the topics of each session, each lasting 45 minutes and featuring a varied schedule over the three days.

In addition, there will be talks and business networking opportunities so that attendees can engage with the brands that interest them most. This model has already proven successful in other countries and has been replicated in Chile since the first edition of Motortec in 2022.
