Are you a car enthusiast? Motortec is coming—the trade show that brings together cars, technology, and business
The leading companies in the automotive industry will gather at Espacio Riesco for an event that will also feature contests, panel discussions, and many other new attractions.
If you’re a true car enthusiast, work in the industry, or are looking to stay up to date on the latest in the automotive sector, take note: this June, a trade show is coming that promises to bring together everything driving the industry today in just three days. Exhibits, training, and business opportunities all come together in one place: Motortec Chile 2026.
Detailing, brakes, parts, and “gems” are just some of the offerings the fair uses to attract the best of the repair shop world, companies, and new talent from the automotive industry. The idea is clear: to create real connections between those already in the industry and those looking to break into it.
The fair is now in its final stages of preparation. Its program includes various activities, such as the Technical Olympics, the International Forum, and one of its biggest new features: the “Show Off Your Gem” contest, which will allow owners of modified, remodeled, or restored cars to showcase their “machine” to attendees.
Tickets are now available on the event’s website and, for now, are free for anyone interested. Additionally, if you’re looking to participate in any of the side events, you can find all the information there as well.
When and where is this automotive event taking place?
Motortec Chile will be held from June 18 to 20 at Espacio Riesco. This will be the fifth edition of the fair, which aims to continue positioning itself as the main hub of the automotive world in our country.
Who is Motortec aimed at?
Motortec is an event open to the general public, but its main focus is on professional mechanics from across the country. It also aims to attract companies and students in related fields who are interested in pursuing a career in this exciting industry.
“Motortec Chile is a meeting place for the industry. We aim to create a space that drives the sector’s development through knowledge and collaboration,” says Carola Fuentes, general manager of FISA, ahead of the event.
What can you expect to see at Motortec?
The event combines content and experiences. On one hand, the exhibition area will bring together companies offering solutions in spare parts, equipment, tools, and services, showcasing part of what is available on the market.
At the same time, the International Forum will address topics such as electromobility, energy efficiency, and industry trends, with experts discussing the changes the industry is facing.
There will also be opportunities for talent development through the Technical Olympics, organized in partnership with DUOC UC. This competition is aimed at automotive mechanics students and seeks to bridge the gap between education and the workforce while showcasing the ingenuity of the younger generation.
And for those who have a personal passion for cars, there’s “Show Off Your Gem,” a space where participants can display restored or modified vehicles, highlighting the work, dedication, and story behind each project.
It will be three days focused on connecting the industry, updating knowledge, and opening up opportunities, at an event that is already counting down.
