The Madrid City Council will offer favourable financing options to homeowners and communities for renovating homes and buildings. Improvements to safety and accessibility, energy efficiency, conservation, regeneration, and urban renewal can all benefit from these conditions.

The Madrid City Council will offer favourable financing options to homeowners and communities for renovating homes and buildings. To achieve this goal, the President of EMVS Madrid and Delegate for Housing Policies, Álvaro González, has signed an agreement with representatives from eight banking institutions.

This agreement makes it possible to finance the works at very favourable interest rates for the beneficiaries, which are always lower than the market rates, and allows them to request 100% of the cost of the works in advance, given that the municipal regeneration plans subsidise an important part of the works, but not all of them. Energy efficiency, safety and accessibility improvements, conservation and urban regeneration and renovation are among the actions that can benefit from this.
