The official 2018 IFEMA calendar will include the first edition of SMART DOORS, the International Doors and Automation Exhibition, which will be held from 21 to 23 February in hall 2 of Feria de Madrid.
SMART DOORS is getting its start in a context of new commercial opportunities for a growing industry in which technological advances in the areas of security, accessibility, energy efficiency and thermal and acoustic insulation, as well innovations and improvements in relation with architectural design and integration, connectivity and control systems, offer a scenario in constant evolution.
Precisely for these reasons, the celebration of this first edition will coincide with SICUR 2018, the leading international event in Spain for comprehensive security, which is held every two years at IFEMA's halls and attracts security companies and users to an event with widespread industry representation, and which also serves as a meeting place for distribution professionals, installers, maintenance workers, architects, construction companies, developers, and property managers, along with metal and aluminium carpentry firms, all of whom are the target audience of SMART DOORS.
In addition to the strong support from businesses and industry-specific associations with which SMART DOORS has been launched, another of its differentiating values is the comprehensive presence of products for any type of use or application.
A comprehensive showcase of innovations in: commercial, industrial and garage doors; high-speed doors and loading bays; roller gates; fire doors, as well as automation, control systems, components and fittings.
Also, worthy of mention is the presence of automatic pedestrian doors, doors for clean rooms, watertight doors and operating theatre doors, making this exhibition a unique event in our country.
Plus, it is being held in Madrid, which offers an extraordinary geographic reach, the best transport links in Spain, and the modern facilities of Feria de Madrid, as well as the experience of IFEMA, Spain’s leading trade fair organiser and one of the most important internationally, with more than 80 annual events on its calendar, and over 30 years of experience in attending to the need for promotion, commercial development, communication and image of diverse economic sectors.
