Once again, INTEF, the National Institute of Teacher Training and Educational Technologies at the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, will be a prominent participant at SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2018, the Learning Technology Trade Fair organised by IFEMA, which will take place from 13 to 15 November in Hall 14.1 at Feria de Madrid.
For this event, INTEF is organising a programme of presentations including talks on ‘The EDIA Project’ (Proyecto EDIA), ‘The School of Computational Thinking (La Escuela de pensamiento computacional)’, ‘What should our students know about programming, robotics and computational thinking at each level of education?’ (Qué debería conocer nuestro alumnado sobre programación, robótica y pensamiento computacional en cada nivel educativo), ‘Resources from and for everyone’ (Recursos de todos y para todos), ‘Inspirational Educational Experiences’ (Experiencias Educativas INSPIRADORAS), ‘eTwinning: a means for democratic participation’ (eTwinning, un medio para la participación democrática), ‘The Classroom of the Future: Innovative Learning Spaces’ (Aula del Futuro: Espacios Innovadores de Aprendizaje), ‘The SCIENTIX Community’ (Comunidad SCIENTIX), ‘Digital competence in teaching: development and improvement’ (Competencia Digital Docente. Desarrollo y mejora) and "AprendeINTEF Experiences’ (Experiencias AprendeIntef).
In addition, INTEF will certify 10 hours of training for all non-university level teachers who can verify at least 10 hours’ attendance at the trade fair over the course of the three days of the event. Attendance will be registered at the information point in Hall 14.1 at Feria de Madrid, where SIMO EDUCACIÓN is being held. For issuance of the certificate, teachers should apply to email@example.com.
Certification by INTEF is a significant recognition of the quality of the content and activities which SIMO EDUCACIÓN provides each year in its endeavour to make the trade fair the benchmark event for technological solutions in the educational area.
