The new challenges when faced with terrorism to be discussed at SICUR 2018
Security and emergency services representatives from London and Barcelona will participate in the round table "Nuevos Retos ante Atentados Terroristas: lecciones aprendidas” (New challenges when faced with terrorist attacks: lessons learned) which is introduced and moderated by the Firefighting service of the city of Madrid within the framework of the SICUR FORUM programme
Furthermore, during the conference day "La empresa ante el terrorismo Yihadista: amenazas y medidas de seguridad” (Companies and jihadist terrorism: threats and security measures) organized by EFITEC FORUM, the current situation and the main recommendations for companies will be analysed
SICUR, organized by IFEMA, will be held from the upcoming 20 to 23 February in Feria de Madrid
The latest terrorist attacks experienced in different cities, in which criminal terrorist action has adopted new forms, have brought about important changes in the action protocols which are being adapted to prevent new attacks and respond better to emergencies when they occur. A reality which will be examined in depth by representatives of the security and emergency services from London and Barcelona, in the round table "Nuevos Retos ante Atentados Terroristas: lecciones aprendidas” (New challenges when faced with terrorist attacks: lessons learned) which will be presented and moderated by the Firefighting service of the city of Madrid within the framework of the conference programme at SICUR 2018, on Wednesday morning, February 21, in the Auditorium of hall 10 at Feria de Madrid.
Terrorism will also be the central theme of the Conference "La empresa ante el terrorismo Yihadista: amenazas y medidas de seguridad” (Companies and Jihadist terrorism: threats and security measures) organized by EFITEC FORUM on Wednesday February 21, in the afternoon, in the Sala Goya at IFEMA/SICUR. This conference will be organised around three talks addressing, respectively, the "Situación actual del terrorismo yihadista en Europa” (Current situation of Jihad terrorism in Europe), organised by the Superintendent of the National Police Service, José María Borja Moreno; “Riesgos tecnológicos del terrorismo yihadista” (The technological risks of Jihadist terrorism), presented by the Chief Inspector Alfonso Estévez Ochoa, also from the National Police Service, and the " Medidas de seguridad de las empresas ante el riesgo terrorista” (Security measures in companies when faced with terrorist risk), which will feature, among others, the contribution of the Colonel of the Civil Guards (SEPROSE), Andrés Sanz, and the security director of a private entity.
In addition, the offerings at SICUR, International Security, Safety and Fire Exhibition, organized by IFEMA from the 20 to 23 February, will present, among many other innovations in the field of prevention and protection of lives and property, an important display of equipment and solutions specially focused on reinforcing security measures for emergencies and terrorist risks.
