SICUR 2026 represents a key milestone for Target Tecnología, according to Luis Rolandi Torquemada, the company's Deputy Director and Corporate Officer. The company's participation in the fair has three strategic objectives: "to consolidate our position in Spain, strengthen alliances and open new lines of collaboration, and present our key technological innovations".

How is Target Tecnología preparing for SICUR 2026, and what new products will the company present at the fair?

SICUR 2026 represents a key milestone for Target Tecnología. It is not merely a commercial event; it is the primary meeting place for the security ecosystem in Spain and a privileged stage to showcase the sector's evolution.

Our participation has three strategic objectives. Firstly, to consolidate our position in Spain. We aim to reinforce our presence as a company specialised in advanced technological solutions for security, defence, and emergencies, demonstrating the evolution of our portfolio and our capacity to adapt to the national operational framework. Secondly, to strengthen partnerships and open new lines of collaboration. SICUR allows us to meet with international manufacturers, technology partners, police forces, the Armed Forces, and critical infrastructure managers to expand our collaborative network.

And thirdly, to present our key technological innovations. Among the innovations we will showcase are new next-generation CBRNe solutions; anti-drone systems with advanced neutralisation capabilities; UGV robots for hostile environments and tactical missions; enhanced X-ray and detection equipment; and smart integrations based on AI, IoT, and secure connectivity.

In short, SICUR is a platform to demonstrate the direction of security in Spain and how Target Tecnología contributes to that future through technology, service, and knowledge.

How important is security to the proper functioning of organisations?

At Target Tecnología S.A., we view security as an essential element for the operation of any organisation and a direct commitment to society. Our contribution is based on four fundamental pillars:

The first is the development and implementation of advanced technological solutions. We design, supply, and integrate systems that allow us to anticipate risks and improve response capabilities. From access control to threat detection, multi-sensor analysis, and management platforms, our solutions help reduce vulnerabilities and strengthen prevention in both public and private environments.

The second is a commitment to a culture of prevention. Technology is only effective if accompanied by procedures, training, and professional judgement. For this reason, we promote training and support programmes for technical and operational personnel, reinforcing good practices, proper equipment usage, and action protocols for contingencies.

The third pillar is social responsibility and sustainability in security. We firmly believe that security is a social value. We actively collaborate with administrations, State Security Forces, private companies, and critical infrastructure operators to protect people, improve occupational safety, and minimise operational risks, always adhering to ethical, legal, and environmental criteria.

The fourth is comprehensive support throughout the solution's life cycle. From initial technical consultancy to installation, maintenance, and technological upgrades, we offer a 360° service ensuring operational continuity and an efficient response to emerging threats. Together, we bring a combination of innovation, technical know-how, and human commitment to make technology an effective tool for prevention, protection, and trust.

What areas does the Target Tecnología portfolio cover?

Our portfolio encompasses specialised solutions in security, defence, and autonomous technologies, tailored to the needs of public bodies, private companies, and critical infrastructure operators.

Regarding products, our Security & Safety division offers X-ray and portable X-ray equipment, walkthrough metal detectors, explosives and narcotics detection systems, special equipment for inspection and control, and hostile vehicle mitigation barriers. In Defence, we feature CBRNe equipment, field camp and emergency supplies, and heavy robotics and autonomous systems (UGV). And in the field of drones and countermeasures, we provide anti-drone solutions and C-UAS systems, as well as UAV platforms for surveillance, inspection, and tactical missions.

Regarding services, we offer security equipment rental with operational flexibility, rapid delivery, and specialised technical support.  We provide customised solutions, adapted to each environment and operational need. We also offer specialised technical and operational training to strengthen the internal capabilities of public and private clients. Finally, we provide 360° consultancy, maintenance, and after-sales support, guaranteeing operational continuity, upgrades, and support throughout the equipment's life cycle.

Our proposition integrates technology, expert support, and adaptability, offering complete, ready-to-deploy solutions for the most demanding environments.

What other aspects are important in the ongoing transformation of the security sector?

The security industry is undergoing a profound transformation marked by automation, interoperability, and digitisation. In this context, I consider three aspects essential. Firstly, the evolution of threats and the need for continuous adaptation. Hybrid threats, which combine the physical and the digital, demand more integrated, faster, and smarter solutions. The industry must be able to anticipate, not merely react.

Secondly, the importance of training and professionalisation. Advanced technology requires trained operators, robust protocols, and a real and sustainable culture of prevention. Thirdly, security as a social and economic value. Investment in security is not an expense; it is a guarantee of economic development, business continuity, and citizen protection. Public-private collaboration will become increasingly decisive.

At Target Tecnología, we are working in precisely that direction: integrating technology, training, and support to create secure, resilient environments prepared for the challenges of the coming years.
