Alberto González (Honeywell Fire): We have identified new opportunities thanks to our presence at SICUR

Alberto González, the Sales Country Leader for Honeywell Fire Iberia, described his company's participation in SICUR 2026 as a success. "The stand was constantly full of visitors interested in learning about our solutions. And I must admit that we identified several new opportunities during the exhibition; if we hadn't been there, we simply wouldn't have found them".

What solutions and proposals did Honeywell Fire Iberia present at the latest edition of SICUR?

The stand featured a large number of Honeywell Building Automation (BA) solutions. If I had to pick one, I would select Trifecta. Trifecta is an innovative fire detection solution that encompasses our Inspire panel, our CLSS cloud solution, and our revolutionary Self-Test detector. In particular, the Self-Test detector is a unique solution capable of performing autonomous smoke and heat tests, ensuring regulatory compliance, reduced costs, and efficiency in the maintenance process. 

How would you rate your company's participation in the fair?

The exhibition was a success. The stand was constantly full of visitors interested in learning about our solutions. I must admit that we identified several new opportunities during the exhibition. If we hadn't been there, we wouldn't have found them. 

 

What kind of professionals came to your stand?

The stand was visited by a high number of people, primarily consultants, installers, distributors, and end users.

What was the focus of the business meetings held?

We held dozens of meetings focused on innovation, new projects, and opportunities. We are really pleased with the quality of the visitors we received at the stand. Many came to review specific projects they wanted to equip with our solutions. 

Did you also carry out demonstrations?

We performed several live product demonstrations, especially of new solutions that, in some cases, were presented for the first time at SICUR.

What opportunities did the fair offer you?

We believe that, especially for new products, the event offered the opportunity to identify new prospects and channels. This will accelerate the market adoption of these solutions. At the same time, the exhibition offered us the opportunity to reinforce knowledge of our core products among our existing partners and the market in general.
