From 24 to 27 February, the International Security Fair positions itself as a key hub for innovation and European cooperation in security.

SICUR 2026, the International Security Fair recognised in Europe for comprehensive security, reinforces its commitment to innovation and transnational collaboration with a day focused on forming consortia for European projects: Brokerage Event SICUR 2026 – Cluster3 (Civil Security for Society).

This hybrid event will take place within the framework of the 25th edition of SICUR, held at IFEMA MADRID from 24 to 27 February 2026. It is an initiative designed to facilitate strategic partnerships among SMEs, large companies, researchers, authorities, end-users in security and other relevant institutions interested in participating in upcoming Horizon Europe calls.

This Brokerage Event, organised with the Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d and supported by multiple European partners, addresses one of the main challenges of the sector: maximising participation in international cooperation instruments to develop innovative solutions in civil security. Through B2B meetings, informative presentations, and pitching sessions, attendees will be able to establish high-value contacts, explore collaboration opportunities, and form transnational consortia capable of competing in Horizon Europe Cluster 3 calls, focused on ‘Civil Security for Society.’

Additionally, on the morning of 24 February, an introductory session on the call will take place at the FORO SICUR, followed by brief presentations co-organised by CDTI and the National Contact Points (NCPs) for Cluster 3, the Fundación para el conocimiento madri+d, and the European Enterprise Network, led by EEN-Madrid. During this Infoday, program priorities will be presented, understanding of the 2026 call topics will be enhanced, and participants will have the opportunity to showcase their proposals to potential partners. This space will facilitate access to European funding and cooperation instruments, generating synergies among entities with complementary capacities to address common challenges in public and private security.

Throughout SICUR, the Brokerage Event will offer on 24, 25 and 26 February both in-person and remote meeting sessions, providing flexibility and reach to participants. It represents a unique opportunity to generate new strategic contacts and foster technological cooperation in security and civil protection at an international level.

The activities are designed to maximise opportunities for networking and strategic alignment, consolidating SICUR 2026 not only as a showcase of technological solutions and specialised services, but also as a facilitating platform for European collaborative initiatives.

With this new format, SICUR 2026 positions itself as a key hub for innovation and European cooperation in security, reinforcing its role as a forum where technological excellence, strategic vision, and impact generation converge across the continent.
