Education Week presents a wide programme of activities for students, families, and teachers

Demonstrations, workshops, talks and practical experiences in different areas of the fair.

The Education Week returns from 11 to 15 March at halls 12 and 14 of IFEMA MADRID with a programme of content that will reflect the transformation of the educational ecosystem and the new needs for guidance, digital competence and employability. The event will take place in the AULA Forum, Campus DIGIeLEARNING, Stage and Speaker Corner, on a journey that combines face-to-face experiences, specialised workshops, sectoral meetings, participatory activities, and prize draws.

AULA Forum: guidance, skills and a critical view of learning 

The AULA Forum space will feature proposals focused on educational reflection, guidance, and the approach to professions related to caregiving, technology, and communication. The Instituto de las Mujeres (Women's Institute) will hold several sessions on equality, critical thinking, and responsible use of technology, while ASEM 112 and the Red Cross will lead practical activities, including demonstrations on emergencies, first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation manoeuvres.

Likewise, RTVE will address the relationship among artificial intelligence, sustainability, and emerging jobs, and Fundación Telefónica will contribute content on employability and skills development. The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports will present aspects of Arts Education with information sessions aimed at young people. The programming of this space will also include dynamics from the Universidad Fernando Pessoa Canarias on sustainability, practical forensic science content from the Universidad Isabel I, presentations, and the handing out of CEAPA awards on Friday at 6 pm., activities promoted by Futuro Laboral de las Instalaciones on technical professions, and sessions from Lab Academy Madrid on the current challenges in education.

Campus DIGIeLEARNING: digital innovation, AI and new educational models

The Campus DIGIeLEARNING will feature an expanded programme led by ANCYPEL on the future of e‑learning, virtual training and the application of artificial intelligence to learning. This will include the official inauguration and sessions on new training dynamics at work. Likewise, activities such as the presentation of the book Buenas prácticas de e‑learning XXVI (Good Practices in e‑learning XXVI), panel discussions on digital strategy, as well as business vision and the evolution of training for employment, will take place.

The programme will include specialised content on the impact of AI on the student lifecycle, European regulations and their application to educational management, along with activities such as Closing the talent gap, dedicated to professional certification in Linux. Furthermore, DRED will participate with a session on European university micro-credentials; ADR Formación, with the application of AI; AENOA Formación, with content on subsidised training; and Fundae, which will address skills updating and lifelong professional learning.

Stage: immersive experiences and technological demonstrations

The Escenario (Stage) will host some of the most visually appealing proposals of the edition. The Universidad San Jorge will showcase its 3D virtual dissection table, Anatomage, for learning anatomy through advanced technology. The Agencia de Seguridad y Emergencias Madrid 112 will organise an escape room on decision-making in emergency situations, as well as practical activities on logistical set-up.

In addition, there will be demonstrations on energy efficiency and solar thermal energy, sessions on the marketing of food products from the Comunidad de Madrid, proposals from the Escuela Superior de Diseño, performances by the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila, and presentations by the SEPE on the most in-demand professions.

Speaker’s Corner: presentations, applied workshops and practical guidance

Meanwhile, the Speaker’s Corner will tackle practical issues with applied workshops and vocational guidance activities. FP Santa Gema will conduct sessions on radiotherapy and artificial intelligence and present workshops on the natural environment, while the Escuela de Hostelería (Catering School) will offer a live pastry workshop and a talk on job opportunities in the sector. The Escuela Internacional de Protocolo y Eventos (International School of Protocol and Events) will host its interactive competition, Event Experience Quiz; the IES Moratalaz will showcase Internet of Things applications for connected facilities; and Fundación Telefónica will present Mapa de Empleo + 42.

There will also be room for content on certification and international studies in collaboration with the British Council, experiences related to cybersecurity and Euroformac, as well as a tournament, matches with players, and a mini-congress on chess in collaboration with Madrid Chess Academy. To this are added presentations from ESCIDE, including Curso Genius, which looks at memory techniques, and proposals from Fundae – Digitalízate aimed at professional training.
