• A total of 29,600 professionals attended Salón Look during the weekend of the twenty-third edition

• This event demonstrated the need and importance of a great annual event dedicated to integral aesthetics and hairdressing, capable of bringing together the entire sector, and tangibly generating profit from the investment of brands, companies and professionals, without territorial fragmentation, with an international mission, and that lends the sector the social recognition it deserves.

The fair has demonstrated the need to come together once more to create synergies among its own experts.

Salón Look, the International Image and Integral Aesthetics Show, has concluded with positive data that exceed expectations and reflect the growth trend the sector is undergoing. The return to business is a reality and they want to exploit it to the maximum within the beauty and hairdressing sector.

Pavilion 12 of IFEMA MADRID witnessed how, during the past weekend of October 22 to 24, the fair was attended by more than 29,000 professionals of this sector to receive training, participate in the different congresses or keep abreast of new products and innovations in the market, as well as the latest advances in technology in the more than twenty activities held during Salón Look 2021. Of all of them, it is worth mentioning the large number of participants in the activities organized by the trade fair in professional aesthetics, which exceeded that of the last edition in 2019.

Important news was announced in the three days of the fair, such as the presentation of the Urbiola Look Education Tour in collaboration with Salón Look, the worldwide launch of the training platform The Hair MBA and the announcement of the Honorary Award in Hairdressing for Luís Llongueras at the Salón Look 2022 Awards, to be held in the spring.

The fair was attended by national professionals as well as students from schools in training, along with foreign professionals, mostly from Portugal, Italy, Colombia and Chile, who generated an extra value in the return of Salón Look, accompanying the event in its internationalization and its consolidation as a touchstone beyond our borders.

As part of Salón Look, a novelty was presented that will bring together all professionals in this sector: the Look Community. This is an interactive and digital space to attend events in order to learn about the latest trends in the sector, carry out quality networking, develop new and more innovative business models or collaborate and connect with leading professionals in the sector, as well as receive training on technology, innovation and management in order to face the challenges of the sector in the world to come.

The management of the fair positively evaluated the numbers and more than anything else, the sensations that Salón Look created; for us to generate activity and business among professionals of integral aesthetics and image is a step forward on the road to recovery. This brings us satisfaction because we are contributing to the improvement of a sector that has been affected in the past year, but which quickly set its sights on the future and the new developments yet to come. For all these reasons, we are pleased with the results of the fair and we want to continue working along these lines to help improve,” said director Julia González.

On Monday, October 25, as the culmination of Salon Look 2021, the fair concluded with the Spanish Hairdressing Awards Club Figaro, sponsored by Revlon Professional. This twelfth edition, held in the “Runway Space” of IFEMA MADRID, had the opportunity to award Brian Sanchis, from Salones CV by Carlos Valient, with Revelation Hairdresser; Belén Naranjo, from Peluqería Jose Urrutia, with Commercial Women’s Collection; Siëro with Men’s Commercial Collection; Manuel Mon, from Manuel Mon Estilistas, with Avant-Garde Collection; Danny Pato with International Collection; Rafael Bueno with Spanish Hairdresser of the Year and Paula Alonso, from Blue By Raquel Saiz Salon, with the Runway Award.

This 23rd edition of Salón Look was possible thanks to the support of the Community of Madrid within the framework of a collaboration agreement with IFEMA MADRID, aimed at supporting companies in their digital transformation and internationalization, as well as the common goal for which both institutions work, being the economic and international promotion of Madrid.
