SALÓN LOOK announces the 15th Beauty Congress
The 15th Beauty Congress will take place from Saturday, 4 November, from 10.00 to 17.30 with an extensive programme of contents
SALÓN LOOK, the Integral Image and Aesthetics Fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, which will take place from 4 to 6 November 2023, will host the 15th Beauty Congress on Saturday, 4 November. This special edition will feature even more content and will be longer, from 10.00 to 17.30.
The 15th Beauty Congress will be a meeting point for the professional beauty sector, addressing interesting current subjects. The event, hosted by expert beauty professional Isabel Juncosa, will start with a presentation by Rosa Ma. Cruz, president of FANAE, will talk about how to treat today's customers with empathy and assertiveness, as well as analyse the keys to informed consent. She will be followed by Rebeca Barcena, who will talk about “how to make my services more attractive” to complete the customer and business part of the presentations. Next up, a panel discussion on customer service courtesy of Miriam Collado, co-founder of Templo de la Estética; Jessica Massó, who will share her three steps to success: communicate your brand, streamline the booking process and carry out an optimal reception protocol.
The programme will finish with a conversation between Aesthetic Medicine specialist Dr Abraham Benzaquén and Consuelo Silveira on the relationship between Aesthetic Doctors and Beauticians in medical-aesthetic treatments. They will be followed by Dr. Alain Toledano, president of the Salud Integrativa Rafaël de París Institute, with translation provided by Lionel Galipienzo, introducing the oncological block with a presentation on integrative and supporting medicine during and after cancer, and natural, non-aggressive connective tissue treatments. This block will be completed by reputed aesthetician María Unceta, founder of María D’uol, talking about the importance of skin on quality of life for cancer patients, and Silvia Sánchez, with a presentation on microcirculation, lesions and pain, and the power of magnetic waves to treat them.
This will be followed by a talk entitled “Not everything green is natural, truths and lies about Greenwashing” by journalist Itziar Salcedo and pharmacist Luz Garcia. Then, Dr Ivan Mañero, plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon will give a speech entitled: “Biological or cultural beauty? The science of beauty if to understand the nature of human beauty, where it comes from and why it is associated with youth”. And, to finish the congress, Vicens Alujas will give a surprising dissertation during which he will share tips on how to cope with long working days while maintaining inner balance.
