From 13 to 15 November, IFEMA MADRID will draw specialists from home and abroad for a competition that encompasses some of the main massage disciplines.
LOOK Madrid will host the 2nd Spanish Massage Championship at IFEMA MADRID from 13 to 15 November. The competition will attract participants from Spain and abroad, who will put their skills and knowledge to the test in the categories of Facial Aesthetics, Body Aesthetics, Spa & Wellness, Sports, Asian, Freestyle, and Four-Handed Massage. The event will make the trade fair a meeting point for massage, well-being, and manual therapists.
According to Guillermo Marín Aguilar, Director of the Championship, this second edition represents “a step forward and a fresh opportunity to showcase the talent, technique and expertise of massage professionals. We want the championship to be a major platform for the profession and for all those who work every day to raise the level of specialisation in the field.”
The competition will test participants’ technical execution, precision, creativity, and ability to adapt in each category. The events will be judged by a panel comprising highly respected specialists, including Mónica Pasolea, Ángel Sánchez Ayllón, Silvia Giralt, Elia Ramallo, María José Bordera, and Susana Rodríguez Utrilla, among other experts.
Competition, training, and professional development
Alongside the championship events, the programme will include masterclasses and specialist content on massage, wellness, and manual therapies. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover new techniques, trends, and professional approaches from industry experts.
The competition strengthens LOOK Madrid’s programme of specialist content, which once again features initiatives focused on training, professional development, and knowledge exchange in the fields of well-being and personal care. Julia González, Director of LOOK Madrid, says that the II Spanish Massage Championship “adds a highly experiential dimension to LOOK Madrid and enriches our programme with an activity that combines competition, learning, and live demonstrations. It is an opportunity to introduce professionals to new techniques, trends, and leading figures in a discipline that is increasingly prominent in the beauty and wellness sector.”
The 2nd Spanish Massage Championship will also be sponsored by Kapyderm, a leading salon brand that is once again supporting the initiative.
