LOOK 2026 raises the stakes for the sector with major national and international hairdressing events
The programme includes Main Stage, LOOK Talks and LOOK Focus, alongside the Hair Look catwalk, which will host Effervescene, the AIPP Awards, the Figaro Awards and the Alternative Hair Show, making its début in Spain
LOOK Madrid is shaping its next edition with a programme that broadens its professional content and places the hairdressing sector at the heart of the event. From 13 to 15 November, the Feria Internacional de la Belleza Profesional (International Image and Integral Aesthetics Show), organised by IFEMA MADRID, will be a fusion of commercial activity, training, demonstrations and major shows, including some of the sector’s leading national and international events.
The 2026 edition will introduce Main Stage and LOOK Talks, two new formats offering expanded opportunities for training, inspiration and entertainment at the fair, alongside the established LOOK Focus area. They will be joined by the Hair Look catwalk, which will host much of the programme dedicated to professional hairdressing, including Effervescene, the AIPP Awards, the Fígaro Awards and the Alternative Hair Show, which will take place in Spain for the first time on 14 November.
New spaces for knowledge and professional activity
Among the main new features for 2026 is Main Stage, a new area at the heart of the halls that will host shows, demonstrations and major hairdressing events.
LOOK Talks is also being introduced: a conference space sponsored by Kemon, which will explore some of the trends and changes shaping the future of professional beauty. The programme will feature exclusive talks by Óscar Mateo, Head of Training and Market Intelligence at Stanpa; Jesús Reyes, a journalist specialising in fashion, the Spanish Royal Family and styling; and Sonia Boost, a consultant specialising in digital marketing and growth marketing.
This new edition will also see the return of LOOK Focus, already recognised as the place where exhibitors present their latest launches, techniques, innovations and developments directly to professional visitors.
Artistic hairdressing returns to the Hair Look catwalk
Creativity and talent will once again come together on the Hair Look catwalk, bringing together renowned professionals and brands from Spain and around the world. The programme will include Effervescene, supported by sponsors Revlon Professional, LOOK, Purò and the IHA, and featuring artists such as Rafael Bueno, Pelsynera and Sergi Bancells.
The catwalk will also host the AIPP Awards, one of the leading international accolades in professional hairdressing, as well as the Fígaro Awards, a major annual event in Spanish hairdressing. Club Fígaro is supported by Revlon Professional as official sponsor, LOOK and Artero as official partners, and Salon Space as a collaborating brand.
The Alternative Hair Show is held in Spain for the first time
One of the highlights of LOOK Madrid 2026 will be the Alternative Hair Show’s first appearance in Spain, made possible by an alliance between IFEMA MADRID and Alternative Hair, one of the leading international platforms for creativity and artistic hairdressing.
On 14 November, LOOK will host the 43rd edition of the Alternative Hair Show, bringing leading names in international hairdressing to Madrid. It will take place alongside the International Visionary Award competition.
Its inclusion adds another major international event to the LOOK Madrid programme, bringing some of the leading showcases of talent, creativity, education and entertainment in professional hairdressing to IFEMA MADRID over three days, from 13 to 15 November.
