The best of the countryside in the city: EXPO SAGRIS celebrates its first edition

EXPO SAGRIS has established itself as a new benchmark for the agri-food sector in Spain. The first edition of the Agriculture and Livestock Show, held from 6 to 8 November 2025 at IFEMA MADRID, closed with extraordinary results: more than 6,000 visitors — including families, young people, students, industry professionals, cooperatives and the general public — and a programme of more than 200 activities designed to bring the reality of the countryside closer to the public.

With a cross-cutting approach based on the themes of Land, Technology and People, EXPO SAGRIS offered a comprehensive overview of the current agri-food sector through its thematic areas:

  • Youth Square/Teaching Classroom, aimed at students and new talent with an interest in agriculture and livestock farming.
  • Technology Square, with demonstrations of innovation applied to the countryside: advanced machinery, precision agriculture and digital solutions.
  • Entrepreneurship and Production Square, with practical workshops focused on rural entrepreneurship and agri-food activity.
  • Livestock Square, dedicated to livestock production and its role in the food chain.

The event was supported by key players in the sector. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food acted as the main sponsor. In addition, Cajamar sponsored the VIP room and McDonald's sponsored the auditorium, reflecting the desire to integrate companies and institutions committed to rural development.

EXPO SAGRIS has established itself as a platform for dissemination, training, innovation and networking, open to professionals, students, families and the general public, with the aim of raising the profile of agriculture and livestock farming and highlighting their essential role in the present and future of the country.
