The Chilean automotive industry will gather at the upcoming edition of MOTORTEC Chile
From June 18 to 20, the Espacio Riesco in Santiago, Chile, will host companies and professionals from one of the country’s most important sectors, with an annual turnover exceeding USD 600 million.
The 5th edition of MOTORTEC Chile, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FISA-GL EVENTS from June 18 to 20, 2026, at the Espacio Riesco Exhibition Center in Santiago, Chile, is preparing for its next event, establishing itself as the leading trade show for the aftermarket in the Andean Southern Cone and the premier gathering for the automotive industry in Chile.
This is a significant sector for the Chilean economy, with a turnover exceeding USD 600 million annually in a highly motorized country. According to data from the Chilean National Institute of Statistics (INE), the country’s vehicle fleet totals 6.7 million vehicles in circulation. Furthermore, between 2023 and 2025, Chile recorded new vehicle sales of nearly 310,000 units annually from approximately 80 brands operating in the country, with a strong commitment to electrification in recent years.
“Motortec is a strategic event because it brings together the sector’s specialized offerings in a single space, allows participants to stay up to date on trends such as electrification, digitalization, and new service models; and, above all, generates concrete business opportunities in a market undergoing rapid transformation,” says Carola Fuentes, general manager of FISA, co-organizer of the fair alongside Ifema.
Chile’s vehicle fleet has an average age of between 12 and 13 years, confirming high demand for auto parts, repair shops, and aftermarket services. In this context, events like MOTORTEC Chile serve as a key platform for connecting the aftermarket industry with an open market.
“It is an exhibition geared toward the entire value chain of the automotive aftermarket: spare parts manufacturers and importers, distributors, wholesalers, repair shops, technical service networks, and suppliers of equipment, diagnostics, tools, and technological solutions for vehicle maintenance and repair,” adds Fuentes.
