IFEMA MADRID presents SocioCARE, the 1st European Care Expo-Congress
The first edition will be held from 9 to 11 June at the Recinto Ferial IFEMA MADRID, coinciding with TECMA, SRR, Global Mobility Call and Madrid Cities Forum.
IFEMA MADRID announces the launch of SocioCARE, the 1st European Care Expo-Congress, to be held from 9 to 11 June, a new professional meeting point aimed at driving the transformation of the care system in the face of major social and demographic challenges.
In a context marked by the ageing of the population, the increase in situations of dependency and the need to evolve towards more personalised, closer and sustainable care models, SocioCARE was created to offer a transversal space for analysis, reflection and debate on the present and future of care.
An event for businesses, professionals and public administrations
The congress will bring together companies, professionals, public administrations and third sector entities linked to the field of care, with the aim of generating a benchmark environment to address the main challenges of the social and care ecosystem.
The main thematic axes include:
- The transition to new, person-centred models of care.
- The development of proximity and home care services.
- Strategies against unwanted loneliness, one of the most urgent social challenges.
- Coordination between health and social systems, key to moving towards integrated and effective models.
- Attracting and retaining talent in a growing sector with high professional demand.
Technological innovation applied to care
Grupo SENDA, strategic partner of SocioCARE
For this first edition, IFEMA MADRID has the collaboration of Grupo SENDA as a strategic partner, contributing its extensive experience and knowledge in the fields of the elderly, dependency and the socio-sanitary sector.
With its participation, Grupo SENDA reinforces its commitment to dissemination, debate and innovation in the care system, a field that is becoming increasingly relevant in the face of the demographic and social changes that our society is experiencing.
In this way, SocioCARE aims to consolidate itself as a professional hub of reference to promote new ideas, share best practices and generate alliances around a key sector for the future. In addition, the fair will be held simultaneously with the Global Mobility Call, TECMA, SRR and Cities Forum fairs, creating a complete programme promoted by IFEMA MADRID, specially designed so that public administrations can take advantage of a day at the fairgrounds to learn about and analyse innovative solutions in mobility and urban planning, two key areas for the development and quality of life in cities.
