Education Week evolves and strengthens its leadership, with AULA as the new umbrella brand for the wider education ecosystem
IFEMA MADRID is ushering in a new phase for its flagship education event, bringing together all the initiatives that support learning, guidance, and professional development throughout life under the AULA brand.
IFEMA MADRID will hold a new edition of Education Week from 17 to 21 February 2027. Spain’s largest education event is embarking on a new strategic phase, with an updated brand structure. From this edition onwards, AULA, Salón Internacional del Estudiante y la Oferta Educativa (International Educational Opportunities Exhibition), will become the umbrella brand for the event as a whole. It will establish itself as the leading education ecosystem, supporting students, families and professionals through every stage of learning and development.
This evolution aims to strengthen IFEMA MADRID’s flagship education offering through a brand widely recognised by students, families, teachers, careers advisers, universities, educational institutions and public bodies. With more than three decades of history and 34 editions held, AULA is now the brand most closely associated with academic and career guidance in Spain. It will therefore comprise a more integrated, clear and scalable offering.
Four specialist areas covering every stage of learning
This new structure will continue to represent the entire educational journey, from the earliest stages of learning through to specialisation and lifelong education. The model will bring together several specialist areas: AULA Junior, focused on children, families and early learning; AULA, for students seeking guidance on their academic and professional future; AULA FP, focused on vocational education and training and its links with employment and business; and AULA Postgrado (Postgraduate), dedicated to specialisation, continuing education and professional development.
Following the 2026 edition, which welcomed nearly 125,000 visitors and featured academic programmes from more than 150 organisations, the 2027 event will strengthen AULA’s role as a space for personalised educational guidance for students, families and schools. It will also be a key place to explore career interests, get answers to questions and discover the trends transforming education and employment.
Bringing the entire offering together under a single brand will raise the profile of Education Week as a whole, make the visitor experience easier and strengthen synergies among educational institutions, businesses and public authorities.
With this evolution, IFEMA MADRID is taking another step towards creating a more cohesive, recognisable educational platform, ready to meet the present and future challenges of learning and training. AULA 2027, taking place from 17 to 21 February at the Recinto Ferial, is entering a new phase as a stronger brand with greater national and international reach, set to be the top meeting point between education, guidance, talent and employability.
