Five months before the event kicks off at IFEMA MADRID from 11 to 13 March next year, 85% of the exhibition area has already been reserved.

The Fair has appointed its Organising Committee, with a high level of business representation.

The Feria Internacional para el Profesional del Animal de Compañía (Pet Industry International Trade Fair), Iberzoo Propet, has held its first Organising Committee meeting, which once again features extensive corporate representation, and where the lines of work for the upcoming edition were discussed, generating great anticipation. The leading fair for the pet industry and professionals on the Iberian Peninsula will take place in Hall 10 of IFEMA MADRID, from 11 to 13 March 2026. Five months before it opens, 85% of the exhibition space has already been sold.

The new organisational structure for Lifestyle and Healthcare vertical events was presented at the Committee, led by Asier Labarga, which now includes IBERZOO-PROPET and is directed by Félix Pérez-Fajardo. The new structure encompasses all the Health fairs organised by IFEMA Madrid to take advantage of all their synergies and provide a better service to the sector

Pérez-Fajardo, who has had a career at the trade fair institution since 2001, managing fairs in the fashion, automotive, and mobility sectors, is optimistic for the next edition. This edition will focus on boosting its international appeal and is expected to exceed the figures registered at the 2025 event.

This objective seems to be within reach, as there are still five months to go before its celebration, and the commercial team has already confirmed that 85% of its available space has been taken up.

The meeting placed special emphasis on enhancing communication in the upcoming campaign for the Feria Internacional para el Profesional del Animal de Compañía (Pet Industry International Trade Fair) 2026, which aims to attract a large number of professional visitors.

During the campaign, Iberzoo Propet will once again be supported by the main agents, associations, and entities - represented in its Organising Committee - of a sector that is enjoying current success.

The parallel programme of technical sessions was announced at the meeting, featuring events such as the 43rd VetMadrid Congress, organised by AMVAC; the FORUM Iberpet, which will be a space for discussion and debate on topics of interest to the petcare market; the commercial presentations of the exhibitors will take place in the AULA Iberpet; the STAGE for grooming shows as well as for the presentation of the updated Antón and Impulso Awards, which will serve to recognise committed and innovative initiatives with companion animals.

Lastly, Iberzoo Propet is once again offering its Live Connect digital platform, which keeps the professional community of the pet sector connected 365 days a year. The platform will feature an upgraded format to support communication and networking for the participating companies
