Launch of EXPOMEDES, the new Professional Trade Fair for Technology and Innovation in Aesthetic Medicine
Organised by IFEMA MADRID and promoted by Fenin, EXPOMEDES will hold its first edition from 11 to 13 March 2026, coinciding with Expodental, and will be held every two years.
Aesthetic medicine in Spain has undergone sustained growth in recent years. According to the report “Perception and Use of Aesthetic Medicine in Spain” produced by the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SEME, Sociedad Española de Medicina Estética), more than 46% of the population has undergone aesthetic medicine treatment, with a turnover of more than €4 billion for the industry. These figures indicate a positive trend that is expected to continue, with annual growth projections of 7% until 2029. This highlights the need to create specialised and professional spaces that foster innovation and drive the market forward.
In this context, EXPOMEDES was created, organised by IFEMA MADRID and promoted by the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies, Fenin (Federación Española de Empresas de Tecnología Sanitaria), which will hold its first edition from 11 to 13 March 2026 in Pavilion 5 of IFEMA MADRID, coinciding with Expodental. It will be held every two years. This new trade fair format, designed to facilitate B2B commercial meetings between manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers of medical and aesthetic technology and equipment with various representatives from the aesthetic medicine sector, was presented to the media this morning at IFEMA MADRID.
It is expected that the simultaneous holding of EXPOMEDES and Expodental, which is attended by nearly 30,000 professionals, will maximise value for exhibitors and visitors, creating a highly specialised fair ecosystem that has a positive impact on attendance, visibility and business opportunities.
With the support of Fenin, EXPOMEDES will showcase the latest trends and innovations in medical and aesthetic products, such as biomaterials or implants for filling and anatomical modification; in equipment, such as devices for reducing or removing adipose tissue, electromagnetic radiation, ultrasound, etc.; in technology and specialised software for digital diagnosis, 3D printing, ultra-personalised aesthetic planning or AI providers; in associated services, such as clinic management software; and in training.
