At Fruit Attraction SP 2025, Termotécnica seeks to expand and strengthen partnerships with the entire premium fruit trade.
DaColheita and DaColheita Bio conservation companies extend the shelf life of fruit, allowing them to reach more distant markets with quality and sustainability.
Termotécnica will be present at Fruit Attraction São Paulo 2025, which takes place from March 25th to 27th at São Paulo Expo. At booth A 102, the company will showcase its complete line of packaging solutions for the fruit, vegetable, and produce (FVP) market, including the DaColheita and DaColheita Bio brands. For the first time with its own booth, the company will also participate in the Business Roundtables.
Established in the international fresh produce market, the trade fair had a successful debut in Brazil in 2024, reinforcing the country's importance in this sector. Termotécnica seeks to strengthen relationships with clients who already export using DaColheita coolers – marketed as FarmFresh internationally – and to attract new business.
“Our participation in the event aims to strengthen relationships and further solidify the DaColheita brand's presence in the Brazilian fruit distribution and export chain. We are also partnering with Abrafrutas, which has been working to open markets and was responsible for bringing this event to Brazil.” says Nivaldo Fernandes de Oliveira, Managing director of Termotécnica.
DaColheita provides effective gains for fruit exports.
Termotécnica has been working in partnership with Abrafrutas, producers, and traders for over a decade in the export of fruits. In six years, almost 2 million coolers have been used in the export of more than 7,000 tons of premium Brazilian fruits such as grapes, lemons and limes, mangoes, dragon fruit, figs, papayas, guavas, passion fruit, lychees, and atemoya to countries throughout Europe, including France, Spain, Portugal, England, and Austria, as well as to the Middle East, Russia, China, and Canada.
Second Nivaldo de Oliveira, DaColheita's FarmFresh solutions for the international market have been a differentiating factor that adds significant value throughout the long-distance transit time chain. By extending shelf life, maintaining a constant temperature, and being very lightweight, DaColheita/FarmFresh packaging also contributes to sustainability aspects such as reducing losses and waste in the distribution chain and reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, in addition to being 100% recyclable. "All the conservation technology and design of our EPS FarmFresh solutions enable our customers to communicate these differentiators to international markets." It reinforces.
Customers attest to the unique qualities of DaColheita packaging.
Visitors will be able to see the benefits of DaColheita packaging, widely recognized by producers for its quality and efficiency. Customers attest to the advantages of this solution:
Ramiro Rosseto and his son Alisson, partners and owners of Excelência Fruit, located in São Miguel Arcanjo/SP, specializing in premium grapes:
“DaColheita packaging has helped us improve the transportation of grapes, ensuring greater preservation and hygiene. The end consumer is increasingly demanding, seeking a portioned and high-quality product. The adoption of these packaging solutions has significantly increased our sales and improved the shelf life of the fruit. We intend to maintain this partnership and expand it.”
Airton Bueno, owner of Sítio Bueno e Silva and the company Frutas Luma, from Santo Antônio da Estiva, a district of Pirajuí/SP, specializing in exotic fruits such as pitaya:
“Termotécnica believed in our business from the start. Since our focus is the export market, the EPS packaging provided essential thermal comfort to maintain the quality of the pitaya during transport and meet the sanitary requirements for export. With DaColheita's coolers, we are able to deliver a better product to the end customer.”
DaColheita Bio: sustainable innovation
As the largest manufacturer of EPS (styrofoam*) packaging solutions in Latin America and a leader in Brazil, Termotécnica is also presenting DaColheita Bio solutions at Fruit Attraction SP 2025, an important step for the company in expanding the use of sustainable materials. DaColheita Bio trays are produced from agricultural waste from sugarcane bagasse, a bio-based, biodegradable and compostable material, meeting the sustainability demands of the market.
To Albano SchmidtAccording to the president of Termotécnica, this innovation represents a milestone for the company: “Termotécnica has always invested in sustainability and innovation. We are attentive to global trends and have implemented a strategic plan to diversify our range of materials, providing complete solutions aligned with customer demands.”
The DaColheita Bio line was developed in partnership with selected suppliers, following criteria of design, durability and resistance to humidity. "These characteristics contribute to reducing losses and waste in the production and consumption chain, aligning with the Save Food Initiative, of which Termotécnica is a signatory." highlights Alexandre Cotrim, the company's Entrepreneurial Innovation Manager.
With its participation in Fruit Attraction São Paulo 2025, Termotécnica reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in packaging for the fresh produce sector.
