The second edition of the largest fair in Latin America dedicated to the fruit and vegetable segment will take place from March 25th to 27th at São Paulo Expo.

NThe press conference will take place on January 31st [Friday] at 10:00 AM. Fruit Attraction São Paulo 2025 in a ceremony taking place at the headquarters of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo.

Present at the event will be secretaries Guilherme Piai [Agriculture] and Roberto de Lucena [Tourism]; the president of ABRAFRUTAS, Guilherme Coelho; the CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, Maurício Duval Macedo; and directors of IFEMA – the Madrid Trade Fair Institution, co-organizers of the event.

Fruit Attraction São Paulo is in its second edition, taking place from March 25th to 27th at São Paulo Expo, solidifying its position as one of the leading platforms for the fruit and vegetable sector in Latin America.

The first edition, held in 2024, brought together more than 12,000 visitors from 45 countries, including 300 exhibitors from 15 countries and the government of 8 Brazilian states, in addition to generating a significant impact on the sector, with business turnover exceeding R$1 billion in sales. For 2025, the organizers expect to surpass the numbers of the previous edition, reaffirming the event as a benchmark for the segment in the Southern Hemisphere.

In addition to showcasing products, technology, and services, Fruit Attraction São Paulo will also host the Fruit Forum, a space for debates and presentations that brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, thinkers, and a highly qualified audience to discuss technologies, innovations, and potential markets in the fruit and vegetable sector. This edition of the event features the participation of the coordinator of Insper Agro Global. Marcos Jank, a reference in the field. Fruit Attraction São Paulo 2025 will also feature a Business Round between exporters and international buyers promoted by Apex Brasil.

The press conference will present details of this year's edition, the new features being prepared, and the expected positive impact on the fruit segment.

To give an idea of the potential of Brazilian fruit farming, in 2024 exports exceeded one million tons, with revenues of 1.38 billion, an increase of 2.04% compared to the previous year, according to monitoring by Abrafrutas based on data compiled from MDIC and Conab. Notable shipments included mangoes, melons, limes, lemons, grapes, papayas, and watermelons.
