MUNDOCAFE, a new monographic area targeting the coffee sector Proclaiming “Welcome to the Vending World”, the event will attract visitors and exhibitors from throughout the sector value chain: operators, vending machine manufacturers and distributors, technology solutions, equipment and components, the food industry and automatic food services, mini-vending, MundoCafé and services

From 13 to 15 November, Vendibérica 2019 will be a business meeting point for the vending and automatic food services industry. This fifth edition of the exhibition is expecting 200 companies and 10,000 trade professionals from more than 55 countries to take part, in what has become an established event for the European vending sector. Organised by IFEMA and promoted by the Spanish National Association of Automatic Distributors (ANEDA), it will be held in Hall 7 at Feria de Madrid.

Vendibérica will give a broad overview of the industry while connecting the food industry with the vending channel, a basic channel of growing importance in distribution strategies, structuring the content into seven areas: vending machines, dispensers and technology; food industry and automatic food services; MundoCafé; mini-vending; equipment; components for distribution and services. The Fair is a proven business tool for companies in all sectors of the channel, enhancing and creating new opportunities for business on the Iberian Peninsula and beyond. Fresh products like snacks and ready-to-eat foods are making strides in the vending sector, and promising data is expected for the coming years.

The offer is aimed at trade professionals like vending machine operators; decision makers at public and private companies, large companies and SMEs; catering managers - cafeterias, restaurants and event catering; holiday accommodation (hotels, guesthouses ...); groups (schools and colleges, hospitals, rest homes...); leisure, sport and wellness operators, and passenger transport facilities; service stations; tobacco distributors, and franchises.

MundoCafé. North and South Zone Barista Championship

This time, the fair will have a new area called MundoCafé for the coffee industry, which will serve as a meeting point for the representatives from the coffee industry and the hospitality industry, vending operators, distributors, food service, baristas and the Horeca channel.

The initiatives organised will include the North Zone and South Zone Coffee Forum Barista Championships; the Aeropress Championship; Tasting Championship; Barista Down Championship and, for the first time ever, the Latte Art Championship. Three days packed with expertise, innovation and passion that will delight everyone. The winners will compete in the National Final in each category in April 2020. These competitions are organised by the Coffee Cultural Forum and have become an excellent showcase for coffee culture, quality coffee consumption and have enhanced the prestige of baristas as true specialists in the preparation and serving of coffee.

The objective of MundoCafé -Vendibérica is to attract an enormous professional audience from the entire north-south region of the Iberian Peninsula, to spotlight the work of baristas and spread the coffee culture through all distribution and sales channels.

Vía Innova, a new ideas tour

Vía Innova is the fair’s way of drawing attention to innovative products and solutions by participating exhibitors. It is a way of bringing together and classifying all the new ideas presented at Vendibérica that helps trade visitors to get the most from their time at the fair while giving exhibiting companies’ products greater exposure. They will all feature in a directory and be included in a tour itinerary of these new developments.

Technical Seminars

Parallel to the business exhibition, a series of specific events and business meetings will take place at Vendibérica, as well as a busy schedule of technical conferences and seminars on subjects like sustainability, media, new payment technologies, and sector data. There will also be a guest buyer programme for operators in the Iberian Peninsula to ensure a large turnout of trade professionals.

Vendibérica will take place at the same time as EAT2GO, a trade event for the Food Delivery & Take Away Industry, which was rated as the best advertisement for attracting a new trade profile at the last edition in 2017. As well as being extremely popular with

vending operators (36.81% of total visitors), and public vending (21%), attendance by Horeca channel professionals increased, accounting for 21.6% of all visitors.
