Intense international promotional campaign

The Vice President of Spanish water company Canal de Isabel II, Rafael Prieto, will chair the Organising Committee of the 2019 edition of SIGA, the Trade Fair for Innovative Water Management Solutions, as announced at the latest meeting of said committee. This consolidates the renewed support of this leading company at the event, organised by IFEMA, which will hold its second edition at Feria de Madrid from 26 February to 1 March 2019.

"At Canal de Isabel II, we believe that our participation in SIGA will be an opportunity to show the projects and actions that both this public company and the rest of the participating companies have been developing and implementing, and that place the Community of Madrid as one of the references in the management of the integral water cycle both nationally and internationally," said Rafael Prieto.

SIGA 2019 will be held alongside HydroSenSoft, the International Symposium and Exhibition on Hydro-Environment Sensors and Software, and will once again coincide with leading trade fairs in their respective sectors, such as TECNOVA PISCINAS, the Technology and Innovation Trade Show for Aquatic Installations; CLIMATIZACIÓN & REFRIGERACIÓN, and GENERA.

The Organising Committee once again has the backing of the main associations and some of the leading firms in this industry, thus guaranteeing high industry representation.

At the meeting of the Committee, the intense promotional campaign that is being developed for the next edition was announced. This campaign places particular emphasis on international promotion to give even greater visibility to a sector with a great innovative potential and significant presence in foreign markets.

Among other measures aimed at enhancing the value of Spanish leadership in technology and services and in sustainability and efficiency, campaigns will be carried out focused on the European and Latin American markets (especially Mexico, Peru and Colombia); an ambitious guest buyers programme will be implemented, attending to the needs of the exhibitors themselves; the extensive network of IFEMA delegates will be used throughout the world, and an international reverse mission will be launched .

In line with this effort to increase the external projection of SIGA, the next edition will host an International Conference, which will take place on 27 February 2019 with the support of Canal de Isabel II, Acciona Agua and Aqualia, and aims to provide an environment appropriate to the level of innovation in the Spanish water sector.

Finally, at the meeting of the Organising Committee of the SIGA 2019, the Trade Fair for Innovative Water Management Solutions, mention was made of the good pace at which space at the fair is being booked.
