Cointel is no stranger to presenting building security solutions. In fact, the Cointel team attending SICUR 2020 is looking forward to meeting as many customers as possible.

And it pays to be prepared for an event like SICUR. The conference boasted 43,732 participants, 1,344 companies, and 651 direct exhibitors in 2018. And the trend has been for those numbers to increase. Cointel Manager Gilber Landeta said his team hopes to meet as many of this year’s attendees as they can.

“We’re just excited,” he said. “We’re excited to meet our customers and present. From the very moment the doors open to the very moments they close, we’ll be on site sharing IC-EDGEICX-AlphaCom, and more with attendees.”

Cointel's work:

Cointel, a Zenitel Solution Partner based in Bilbao, Spain, specializes in building security. It counts BBVA, Spain’s second-largest bank, and the Sagrada Família Basilica World Heritage Site among its clients. And, according to Landeta, Cointel has provided more than 30,000 Zenitel intercom stations to prisons and detention centers throughout Spain.

“We do most of our business in building security,” he said. “We have spent years specializing in these kinds of installations. We are experts in providing intelligent communication to prisons, banks, and many other buildings.”

Given its significant international audience, SICUR 2020 is the perfect place for Landeta’s team to share Cointel’s work. This year’s conference will take place from February 25-28 at the IFEMA Convention Center in Madrid.

Sharing solutions at SICUR 2020:

And Landeta said the global launch of IC-EDGE ensures that Cointel has plenty to talk about at this year's conference.

“Our main goal is to introduce the two new systems that we’re launching,” he said. “One is ICX-AlphaCom. The AlphaCom software can support more than 500 intercom stations. And you can install it on any PC. It’s a big step in bringing our intelligent communication solutions to the next level.”

The other is IC-EDGE. Launched in the United States in April 2019, IC-EDGE saw its worldwide release earlier this week.

“IC-EDGE is proof that our stations can provide superior audio quality without needing a server,” Landeta said. “All the communication abilities are built into each station.”

Landeta said his team would arrive at the conference early to set up and was planning to stay as late as possible. Along with a few Zenitel representatives, the Cointel team will be at Booth #10G21 in Hall 10 of the convention center.
