Meat Attraction to give a real boost to professionals in the meat distribution and retail channels, hotels, restaurants and catering and the meat industry around the world

Meat Attraction expects to attract over 20,000 professionals from 50 countries

Meat Attraction, the International Meat Sector Fair, will open its doors for the third year from 17 to 19 September, bringing together an expected 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professionals from 50 countries. Three days of intense B2B meat sector business relations, where visitors’ profiles will be cited for each exhibition area: product area – responsible for domestic and international retail purchases, food industry purchases, the food channel, retailers and meat product importers and the auxiliary industry area, responsible for the area of production and quality, engineering, plant and maintenance, research and laboratory, retailers, hotels, restaurants and catering.

Meat sector professionals can now acquire their visitor pass – https://www.ifema.es/meat-attraction/entradas-invitaciones– to Meat Attraction 2019, allowing them to enjoy all the opportunities that the fair makes available. The event has a clear focus on the domestic market and the orientation of export projects through its Innovation Hub, Meat Week, Chef Factory, IbericoLand and B2Meat areas, the international guest programme and the Butcher's Day, just some of the innovative ideas that will be attracting major retail buyers, supermarkets, importers, meat traders, hotels, restaurants and catering firms etc., together building this great international commercial platform for the meat industry throughout the value chain.

Meat Attraction offers numerous business opportunity events such as the expanded programme of B2Meat meetings with international buyers selected by ICEX in 15 priority countries for Spanish exports and the buyers programme, which allows exhibitors to directly invite contacts and potential customers, with their travel and accommodation costs paid by Meat Attraction. In addition, the fair will feature the specialist IbéricoLand area for Iberian pork products companies and Eco-Organic Market, for meat producers and organic products.

This year features China as a guest importer and will include different events and actions of great interest, such as the X World Ham Congress, the second #Distrimeat, the European Meat Distribution Congress, the Meat & Organic Congress – Meatic, the Automation and Digitalization in Industry sessions and the Innovation Hub, as well as a host of new developments and star products of all fair exhibitors, the Accelera Awards for Innovation and Chef Factory, the showpiece culinary stage for the hotel trade.

In parallel, between September 13 and 22 Meat Week will see a series of events in Madrid to promote the consumption and enhancement of the fundamental and vital nutritional properties of meat. Finally, we shall be holding a Butcher's Day on September 17.

Meat Attraction's content-packed dissemination plan puts a significant emphasis on an extensive campaign in the specialist media throughout Europe, as well as on digital one channels such as Google Adwords and through postal initiatives that cover a comprehensive international database of supermarket chain purchasing managers.
