For the first time, the Spanish poultry meat sector will be present through its interprofessional, Avianza, at Meat Attraction. An association that brings together practically 95% of the sector, with more than 65 companies, 5,000 farms and 40,000 direct and indirect jobs.

And it does so with the aim of showing the quality of Spanish poultry products, driven by a committed sector that has invested heavily in recent years in innovation, modernization of processes, sustainability and export capacity to new international markets.

The Spanish poultry sector produces more than 700 million birds (chicken, turkey, quail and other species) every year, and generates a turnover of more than 2,300 million euros. The most consumed meat in our country is also a benchmark in quality, nutritional properties and synonymous with healthy eating.

This has also contributed to the efforts of its interprofessional and associated companies to promote initiatives for the recognition of their products, promoting greater traceability and visibility of the entire production process of local farmers, within the Farm to Table strategy, which will result in the next seal of quality of poultry in Spain.

Avianza's presence at Meat Attraction will take place within the framework of a space that will offer relevant information about the latest developments in this sector, with the development of a program of professional activities of great value for attendees, as well as an area of showcookings and product demonstrations.

We encourage you to participate in the different workshops organized on poultry handling in the kitchen, on the preparation and versatility of its products for the Premium gastronomy of our most renowned chefs or specialized training to address new fields of marketing, innovation or export through its Avianza Export division.

In the Avianza space we will also have the presence of four of its associated companies: Coren, Nutrave, Pujante and Uvesa. The team of the interprofessional itself, led by Jordi Montfort, its general secretary, will also offer attendees advice and information on the four pillars for this year: Innovation, Quality and Animal Welfare, Biosafety and Internationalization.

Precisely this last area is one of the most attractive, with a powerful internationalization plan in countries such as Japan, Mexico, Philippines or China, among others, as well as the United Arab Emirates thanks to the collaboration agreement with ICEX.
