How far would you go to guard your principles?

Marco is a young and well-known doctor, fond of being familiar with new cultures and trying new experiences. Unexpectedly, he has the opportunity to work for the Duke Federico de Luvia, in Milan. He accepts the job with conditions. His life in the castle is comfortable, he helps with every request, until he meets a beautiful and curious maid, interested in learning. Together, they combine their services in the palace with the activity of teaching and learning. That's how Marco has to face two challenges: he has to transform the inexpert employee into a good assistant, and fight against a religious society which abhors the modern scientific method. It's a difficult and disturbing experience that blends human with divine, rules with rationality. The protagonists have no choice but to be subjugated by the complicated situations of that time they're living.

Mirian Ginessanz was born in Zaragoza in 1962. She has also studied drama and other subjects for her degree in history.
